We run a rural Buddhist Retreat Centre, offering residential retreats on Buddhist meditation and Buddhist teaching. We also run weekends and courses in city based Buddhist Centres on request. Local schools ask us to talk to their pupils about Buddhism and some come to us for an weekend experience of retreat living. Our main teachers are all ordained Buddhists with the Triratna Community.

We work with vulnerable women and their children to improve their health and wellbeing, improve their life prospects and create stronger and more cohesive families. Our work is primarily carried out in Luton and Bedfordshire.

6 Trustees oversee the work of Family Help Darlington CIO which provides a holistic package of support including refuge accommodation, Darlington's Women's Refuge, was founded in 1976 (charity reg no 506051) in order to provide safe, temporary accommodation for women and women with children fleeing domestic abuse. There is also a telephone helpline for victims/survivors of domestic abuse.

The Lotus Flower runs safe centres and projects for women and girl conflict survivors and other vulnerable community members, predominantly in the Kurdistan region. The TSSS is a national charity caring for the needs of those with Turner Syndrome [TS] throughout the UK. The Society offers support, advice, and information to both girls and adult women with TS, their families, and friends. The Society enjoys a good relationship with relevant specialists to promote a good basis for education and understanding of the management of Turner Syndrome.

We are a large multi-purpose community centre in North London housing various projects: Under 5s Drop-In,London Capital Credit Union,Kurdish & Middle Eastern Women's Org,Octopus Community Network,Choices CIC,Elthorne Pride Big Local, Scarabeus Theatre Group. We run a number of health and educational activities and also hire office and hall space to external users for activities and functions.

SWA's objective and principle activity centres on the provision of temporary accommodation for women and children escaping domestic abuse. This is achieved operationally via the two refuges one of which has disabled access and both have dedicated play areas for the children. In total there are 14 bedrooms across the two sites. Families have there own bedrooms but share all the other facilities.
