The Pepper Foundation provides funding for children's hospice at home care for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

The relief of people with learning disabilities by developing self-awareness,pride,dignity, confidence & social awareness. The charity gives training in the manufacture and sale of wooden & metal toys,household and other goods involving all aspects of a commercial operation - purchasing,manufacturing,selling,packaging and despatch,health and safety,monies etc and dealing with the public at large.

Pegasus Theatre offers innovative performances, productions and participatory arts that promote social inclusion. Our work focuses on giving young people opportunities to make theatre their own. We also mentor and support emerging artists. Our programme reflects the cultural diversity of the local community.

To demonstrate that children and adults with severe learning disabilities whose behaviour is described as challenging can enjoy normal life opportunities when their behaviour is properly understood and appropriately supported, and to support parents and carers through education and information to enable this to happen.

Education and training in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church particularly those on sexual morality and life issues. Provision of loans, grants, baby goods and baby clothes to pregnant women and mothers in need. Provision of grants or loans to other organisations who fulfill our criteria, particularly pregnancy counselling organisations, where our resources allow.

THE CHARITY WORKS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT HAVING AS ITS OBJECTS THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE RESIDENT IN SELSEY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN PARTICULAR BY:(1) PROMOTING THEIR CARE AND SAFETY;(2) PROMOTING THEIR EDUCATION AND PROMOTING PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT;(3) PROMOTING THEIR HEALTH AND WELLBEING;(4) PROVIDING SERVICES TO SUPPORT THEM, THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS

The provision of regular public worship and sacred space within the Mission Area. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Teaching and promotion of Christianity. Promoting the whole mission of the Church in Wales in aiding community cohesion through provision of activities for older people, mothers and toddlers, youth and other specific groups.

To enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory age by encouraging parents to understand and provide the needs of their children through groups and by offering appropriate play, education and care facilities, family learning and extended hours groups ensuring all opportunities are for all children whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability.

We deliver a range of drama and arts activities for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years old both in our purpose built venue Burnley Arts Centre and also in the community and schools of Burnley and East Lancashire.

Embercombe's aim is to inspire people to deepen as human beings and take courageous action to change our world. We run Leadership Programmes for individuals, families, young people, business leaders, schools and educators. We also run public events, short courses and outreach programmes and promote a sustainable lifestyle wherever possible.

PARTICIPATION IS AT THE CORE OF OUR WORK - OUR WORK HAS THREE MAIN AREAS OF FOCUS - PRACTICE WORKING WITHIN PRISON AND YOUNG OFFENDER INSTITUTION INMATES, PROBATION CLIENTS, AND YOUNG PEOPLE AT RISK, TRAINING,CONSULTANCY & ADVOCACY.

From our purposely designed centre, we offer a range of support to families with disabled children or any additional needs. Activities include play clubs, dance classes, mother & toddler group, soft play, IT suite, sensory suite, sibling support, educational support, agriculture, small animal petting area, specialist holiday respite, specialist adapted cycles, crafts, volunteering opportunities.

The charity provides:Free computer access to disadvantaged groups at various centres in the area .Regular groups attending the centre include clients with Prader Willi Syndrome and people in recovery from mental ill health. Day services for people with dementia in Hastings and Rye.Support for people in food povertyESOL for Asylum seekers and refugees.

The Broughton Trust is a regeneration charity; the main activities are providing a wide range of training for individuals, particularly those not in work; working with groups to provide support, training, activities for residents, neighbourhood renewal and related issues; Local Research; Youth work including mentoring young people.

The Circuit supports 12 churches by encouraging the churches to work together, by providing training for lay members and by providing youth workers. This support and leadership enables the following activities. Regular public acts of worship.The teaching of Christianity.Pastoral work.Promotion of the whole mission of the church.Supporting other charities financially and with prayer.

To provide support to families with at least one child under 5 years old

The principal purpose of the church is the advancement of the Christian faith and has a variety of activies including Pre-School, Parent and Toddler, Children and Young People, events for Men, Women and the community, fellowship groups, luncheon club, coffee mornings, ladies art & craft, discipleship, parenting and leadership training and residential accomodation for those over 65 yrs.

WE PROVIDE A PLACE OF WORSHIP FOR MUSLIMS AND RESOURCES AND FACILITIES FOR ALL RELIGIOUS MUSLIM EVENTS IN THE ANNUAL CALENDAR. THERE ARE SPECIAL DEDICATED FACILITIES FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. WE PROVIDE DAILY RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN, MARRIAGE/FUNERAL CEREMONIES AND FINANCIAL RELIEF FOR HUMANITARIAN DISASTERS AROUND THE WORLD, AS WELL AS PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE FOR ALL COMMUNITIES.
