QuIET primarily supports the provision of education for young people in accordance with the Quaker principles by its management of Brummana High School in Lebanon.

Bridgewater School is a charity whose main objective is to advance education and training. This is currently provided by a school which provides education for boys and girls aged 3 - 18, in Manchester.

In pursuit of the "relief of elderly people" "in and around the City of Manchester", the organisation aims not only to provide direct assistance through its own service structure, but also seeks to influence the nature, style, client group and location of services provided by others, particularly the statutory agencies with responsibilities for meeting the needs of Manchester's older people.

Promoting and providing for the advancement of education of children and adults by the provision of one or more schools, tutorial colleges and other establishments. To date these aims have been pursued through the operation of Sussex House School, a preparatory school which aims to develop each pupil to their full potential, enabling them to make the fullest contribution to the wider community.

St Andrew's Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people of all ages who have a progressive life limiting illness and also provides support and advice for their families and friends. We provide care for adults living in North East Lincolnshire and for children living in N E Lincolnshire, N Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire, Hull and East Riding.

The provision and promotion of advocacy services to promote the well-being of people who are in need by reason of mental or physical ill-health, disability,learning difficulties,age or otherwise.

THE CHARITY'S PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS THE PROVISION OF A DAY SCHOOL FOR THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AGED FROM 3 TO 16.

Birtenshaw Merseyside operates a special school. The charity supports children, young people and young adults who have a moderate to severe learning disability, including Autistic Spectrum conditions and those with a significant physical disability/impairment including complex health needs.

We aim to make a positive difference to the lives of all older people in Lancashire, to make later life a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We provide effective services to meet locally identified needs; develop and promote well-being initiatives to help people lead healthy, active lives; ensure older people are fully informed so that they have choice and control to live independantly.

The principal activity of the Charity during the year was family assessment and the provision of services for children and vulnerable families with the aim of achieving the best outcomes for children. The Charity works with school children and high risk families, referred by local authorities and courts, where there is the potential for or where neglect and/or abuse is known to have occurred.

To be the support or advancement by lawful charitable means of charitable work for the time being carried on by the Congrgation & the advancement of the Roman Catholic Religion.

The Charity provides sheltered flats for older people in Gloucestershire as well as a Residential Home and Nursing Home. The Charity also offers day care services for those living with dementia in the wider community as well as a weekly social club.The Trust also administers a "Relief in Need" grant making branch of the charity and the former Gloucester District Nursing Charity.
