The Charity issues grants for financial assistance to professional artists whose work has been known to the public for some time who, through illness, accident or old age, are unable to work and earn a living.

As a Scout Group, we aim to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Grants to organisations working with refugees and asylum seekers, people with mental health or learning disabilities, desistance from crime, domestic violence. Grants are given to organisations working in NE England and Central Scotland. A small number of grants are given for restoration of architecturally important churches. DFYC, open to all young without discrimination, supports socially excluded young people in Bermondsey and around, enabling them to fulfil their potential through a structured and varied programme of activities, which the staff actively supervise and join in during all sessions. Based on Christian principles, young people discover meaning to their lives and contribute to their local communities.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. Warwickshire Scout Council carries out this purpose across Warwickshire via 8 Districts and local groups.

Provision of education, training, support to adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities through the provision of workshop based employment together with horticultural activities and leisure activities taking place throughout the North East of England. The charity helps adults to regain mainstream employment and volunteering opportunities and provides support to aid recovery.

Gazebo promotes the social, educational and artisitc development of individuals through the creative arts, both locally and regionally. The aim of the charity is to promote musical education through (i) the organisation and promotion of choral courses for children and young people aged from 8 to 21 years; and (ii) the activities of a choir for talented young singers selected from those who have participated in such courses.

Supports the work of the Dohnavur Fellowship in India which runs a children's home and a rural hospital. It provides for retired missionaries who had given their lives to this work without salaries.

We provide educational support and protection from abuse for some of the worlds most vulnerable children facing multiple discriminations, with a focus on conflict and post conflict countries. We do this by training teachers; raising awareness oF the right to education; training social workers; delivering vocational training; conducting health education; and building and rehabilitating schools.

We provide support and accommodation for people affected by Domestic Abuse. We offer temporary accommodation in a safe and supportive refuge where women and their children can recover from the traumatic effects of Domestic Abuse and make informed choices. We also offer a range of community services, courses and counselling to support women to rebuild their lives after abuse.

The education of children and young people about the risks and penalties of crime and anti-social behaviour and use of social media and by persuasion and education help to keep the young safe and prevent the commission of criminal offences in so far as such objects are charitable at law.

The YMCA provides both housing and community based activities to young people up to the age of 25, providing support for the most vulnerable in the Northamptonshire community.

Advancement of Hindu Dharma (religion) through education, promoting studies into Hindu Dharma, promotion of harmonious inter-race/inter-community relations, celebration of Hindu festivals, language classes, youth seminars, lecture tours from prominent scholars, co-ordination with other Hindu organisations/faith groups, performance of religious rites, teaching of religious education in schools.

Nacoa provides information and support for everyone affected by a parent's drinking. Our work is about planning a positive future for the 2.6M children who live with parents who drink too much in the UK today; providing them with an opportunity to see that the world can be different from the one they know, that they can break the cycle of addiction and go on to live happy and fulfilled lives.

The Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy was founded for the purpose of the education of the poor and for the help of those in any kind of need. The convent became St Margaret's Convent. The Sisters engage in a variety of ministries, working in schools, aprishes, hospitals, day centres and outreach.
