The Said Foundation's mission is to bring positive and lasting change to the lives of children, young people and the wider community through five related programmes: the Said Business School Programme; Humanitarian Programme; Scholarships Programme (financial support for people from the Levant to pursue higher education); Amal (funding Muslim arts and culture in the UK) and the Toucan Project.

The principal activity of Stockdales continues to be the charitable provision of respite, short break , community and residential care for the welfare of children and people with severe learning difficulties & multiple physical disabilities.

Money is raised through income from charity shops and donations. This enables the charity to employ youth and children's workers to work in schools, youth clubs and the local community. The charity works mainly in Derbyshire.

Grandparents Plus is the national charity which champions the vital role of grandparents and the wider family in children's lives - especially when they take on the caring role in difficult family circumstances. We do this by:campaigning for changeproviding evidence, policy solutions and trainingbuilding alliances and networks.

Providing emergency aid in disaster-affected regions and deliver long-term, sustainable support to those in need. We are committed to serving the most vulnerable; orphans, widows, and the destitute, regardless of race, religion, culture, or location.

To advance the Roman Catholic faith by the education of children in the Christian tradition at Alton Convent School, an independent school for day pupils.

The purpose of the Charity is the advancement of education of children and young people inparticular by providing assistance to their parents to enable such children to be taught otherwise than at school as defined in the Education Acts 1944 to 1993.

SCIE improves the lives of people who use care services by sharing knowledge about what works. We are an independent charity working with social care and social work services across the UK. Our work helps to improve the knowledge and skills of those working in care services. People who use these services and their families also use our resources to make informed decisions about their care.

St Rocco's Hospice aims to provide quality care and support for those people and their loved ones with life limiting disease who live in the Warrington area to enable each person to find comfort, hope, strength and peace. We provide Specialist in-patient palliative care, day unit therapies and Outpatient services and Family Support, and offer general Hospice at Home care.

In countries affected by conflict and war, Women for Women International supports the most marginalised women to earn and save money, improve health and well-being, influence decisions in their home and community, and connect to networks for support. By utilising skills, knowledge, and resources, they are able to create sustainable change for themselves, their families, and their communities.

The objectives are 1) provision of relief to families in crisis from poverty, conflict, hardship, homelessness, ill health or addiction 2) relief of needs of overwhelmed and resource limited parents and their children through the provision of safe, temporary family stays for their children and 3) protection of the physical and mental health of the children. Support provided through volunteers.

A School Trust for the education of boys and girls aged between 3 - 13 in the Independent Preparatory, Pre-Preparatory and Nursery School.

LFF provides a unique set of services which enhance community protection against child sexual abuse. Our preventative work includes awareness raising and education. Our specialist staff assess risk, advise on case management and provide evidence based intervention programmes. LFF is the only UK-wide child protection charity dedicated solely to reducing the risk of children being sexually abused.

St Cedd's School principally provides day education for boys and girls aged 3 - 11, educating them to a high standard and so enabling them to move to a suitable senior school for the continuation of their education.

To provide, free of charge, the highest quality supportive and end of life care to patients with life limiting illnesses, along with love, care and support to the families and carers during illness and continuing after bereavement. Hospice services also support patients newly diagnosed with a life limiting illness through treatments aiming for a full recovery.

Kent Music is the lead partner for the music education hub for Kent. We provide instrumental & vocal tuition, ensembles, choirs and groups for children, young people & adults, bespoke support to schools, a financial assistance scheme to support children & young people on low incomes and a musical instrument service.

Management of Sure Start Children's Centre and a Staying Well programme in North and East Halifax and in the Lower Calder Valley. Management of Ovenden and Mixenden Initiative, a neighbourhood management programme working with public service providers and local communities to raise awareness, and promote and improve public service delivery in those communities.
