The Youth Zone's principle activity is the provision of a purpose built, world class 21st century facility for sport and recreation in Blackburn for young people aged 8-18 years old. The Youth Zone delivers a range of high quality universal youth work services, seven days a week, which will be accessed voluntarily by young people on a membership basis.

Age UK Oldham operates solely within the boundries of the Oldham Metropolitan Borough for the benefit of older people. The organisation provides direct services and innovative projects directed towards specific needs, provides information and advice and undertakes campaigning work.

Nursery and Primary Education

We organise and arrange Hajj trips and religious seminars/sermons at various venues. We provide healthcare for the elderly and the sick, camps for boys and girls, sports tournaments and educational classes. We also collect donations for areas affected by natural disasters and for other charities.

New Roots provides supported accommodation in Bassetlaw & Newark & Sherwood to homeless and vulnerably housed young people between 16-21yrs. We work with single young people, couples and young parents. It is the aim of New Roots to support all service users in the development of independent living skills and making the transition to suitable and permanent accommodation within their own community

Windmill Hill City Farm provides a range of educational, recreational and therapeutic services and facilities to the local community including a farm and community gardens, a cafe, a variety of courses, activities and facilities for children and young people (a day-care nursery and playground), older peoples groups, and services for people with mental health issues or learning difficulties.

Step by Step School is registered as an independent special day school for pupils with autism, over the age range 4-19

The charity provides holistic support services to BMER ( Black,Minority, Ethnic, Refugee) women and children and prioritises work on issues around violence against women ( which includes domestic violence, rape, forced marriages and honour killings).
