The charity operates across Lancashire providing support to people over 55 and their carers. Services include: Promoting Independent Living, Day and Community based Support for those with memory concerns, Health and Wellbeing and raising money for and from charitable activities. Some services which support all adults are also delivered where the majority of beneficiaries are older people.

Grant giving, including grants from restricted funds and unrestricted funds to fulfill the objects of the charity.

Propagate Christianity through Christian meetings, seminars, conventions, crusades; theological education; evangelical training; counselling, sponsoring of programmes for the relief of neglected, poor and the elderly; publications distributions of books, audio and video tapes.

Our mission is to help young people succeed. There are three arms to the work that we do to help young people overcome the difficulties they face and achieve their full potential: Venture Philanthropy, Academy Sponsorship and Research.

Youth Federation Ltd strives for equal life chances for young people through a range of interventions and services including support to access education and employment, intensive mentoring and mental health services. We also deliver a variety of personal social development programmes and training courses. In addition to running youth clubs we provide infrastructure support for the youth sector.

THE AIMS OF THE CHARITY ARE- TO PROMOTE APPRECIATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF ASIAN COUNTRIES AND SOCIETIES, THEIR CULTURES, ARTS AND RELIGIONS- TO FOSTER CLOSER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE PEOPLES OF ASIA AND THE UK- TO EDUCATE THE CHILDREN OF THE UK ABOUT THE COUNTRIES OF ASIA IN PREPARATION FOR THE WORLD OF TOMORROW IN WHICH ASIA WILL PLAY A LEADING ROLE

Providing foster care for children who cannot live with their birth families. This entails supporting, supervising, managing and training foster carers to care for children effectively and providing a strong support team who can ensure that children's life chances and choices are enhanced.

Provision of Activity/ Educational based holidays for people with disabilities and their carers or family.

Provision of Residential Care Accomodation, support and facilities for the elderly mainly from the town of Northampton

THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES AND WELFARE CARE PROGRAMMES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES CONNECTED WITH THE ELECTRICAL,ELECTRONICS AND ENERGY INDUSTRIES (AND ALLIED INDUSTRIES) SO AS TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT NEED AND POVERTY.

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue maintains a place for public religious worship, provides and conducts religious services, provides religious education for children and adults, facilities for the solemnisation of marriages, civil partnerships, mixed faith blessings and also for burials and cremations. The Synagogue also facilitates and encourages inter-faith activities.

Fundraising to provide equipment and other resources for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital for Wales.

GLASALLT FAWR CAMPHILL CENTRE IS A RESIDENTIAL CARE HOME SET IN A 90 ACRE FARM, PROVIDING 24 HOUR CARE FOR ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.

Advance education by promoting debating, hosting educational events, training members and public in debating for debating competitions. Encourage the exchange of ideas and provide access by the public to the Charity's facilities and events; provide workshops for local school children to introduce them to debating and enable students and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to participate.

Power2 is a leading youth development charity. We believe there is no greater cost to society than unfulfilled potential. We support children and young people at key transition points to achieve their potential by developing crucial life skills, boosting confidence and improving self-esteem. Our two main programmes are the award-winning Teens & Toddlers programme and the Young Leaders programme.

We provide educational support and protection from abuse for some of the worlds most vulnerable children facing multiple discriminations, with a focus on conflict and post conflict countries. We do this by training teachers; raising awareness oF the right to education; training social workers; delivering vocational training; conducting health education; and building and rehabilitating schools.

WWiN provides a range of direct community support services and supported accommodation for adults and children affected by domestic abuse.The Charity also delivers a range of prevention services:(i) Direct work with perpetrators of domestic abuse(ii) Delivery of training, awareness raising and community engagement (iii) Advocacy and support to family and friends

The objects are set out in the Mem.& Art's and are to provide facilities for teaching,training recreational and other leisure time occupations in the interests of social welfare,for the benefit of those persons who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement,poverty or social and economic circumstances, with the object of improving their conditions of life.

The charity supports visually impaired people who live within Barrow-in-Furness and the surrounding area. The organisation provides information and advice to visually impaired people and to their families and carers, provides visually impaired people with a range of welfare support and social activities, promotes awareness of sight loss issues and supports people within a residential home.

Colchester Mind provides support, advocacy, advice and information to children and young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties, and adults with with mental health issues, across Essex although predominantly in Colchester and Tendring.

Publishing books which relate to our charitable objectives, which are to propogate Christian principles, the ideas of anthroposophy, and wholesome spiritual and ethical values for children.
