Empire Fighting Chance (EFC) helps young people who are failing at school, in danger of drifting into a life of unemployment or even crime, and helps them turn their lives around. We run intensive mentoring and personal development programmes alongside a physcial activity. EFC perform remedial work on numeracy and literacy,preparation for employment courses,sports and mentoring qualifications

The primary activity is the meeting for teaching of the bible, praise and prayer. The charity also provides for work with children of all ages on Sundays, after school, and in school holidays. It supports the mission of the church through prayer and financial support of partners. It also supports a number of trainees at theological college.

Our vision is to give all children with hearing impairment the opportunity to listen and speak as equals alongside their hearing peers. We will achieve this goal by establishing systems of training to create more qualified auditory verbal therapists allied with the provision of direct services for children and their families.
