The provision of grants, allowances, housing and general advice and support

The Charity's objects are the education of the public (with particular emphasis on students engaged in full time education) in the scientific principles of evolution. The charitable company meets these objectives by making monies available in the form of one-off donations to other charitable organisations, at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.

This is a grant making trust offering financial support to a wide range of UK registered charities working to advance the Christian faith & relieve poverty in its broadest sense, both throughout the UK, in developing countries & overseas. Capital or project funding is favoured over revenue funding.

The Saltbox: supports, encourages & promotes the work of churches & individual Christians; provides a voice for the faith sector to inform & influence service delivery; delivers services which support vulnerable people; identifies potential partnerships with statutory, voluntary and community organisations to bring about cohesion & transformation; provides an information service for connectivity

The principal activities of the trust were to advance education in and the religion of the Orthodox Jewish Faith and for such other purposes as are recognised as charitable.To achieve the objects the trust uses its income to make charitable donations and grants to Jewish schools, other educational organisations and other charities.

Leeds CAB provides advice and information services to people living or working in the Leeds Metropolitan District and surrounding areas.

Impact initiatives operates a range of user-focussed services which help maintain and develop independence, promote learning and support improved health and quality of life. Areas of work include services for children and young people, older people, advocacy, vocational support and supported housing for young women.

VAR provides support services to the voluntary and community groups/organisations within the borough. This is provided by the following: a volunteer centre, developing and facilitating networks and collaborative working, undertakes policy analysis and research, lobbies on behalf of the sector, runs a membership scheme, develop and manage several bespoke projects. VAR is a membership based org.

The charity provides nurses and careworkers for the sick and elderly and also makes grants for health induced crises.

An Almshouse Charity, founded in 1529 for the relief of poverty, became a CIO April 2014. Area of operation is limited to Derby. Focus is assisting older people primarily through direct provision of housing. Small grants to relieve need are also available to a broader age range. We manage four almshouse estates for people aged 60 or over, and run a 40-bed Residential Home for frail older people.

KASBAH support individuals with physical and/or learning disabilities including the families and carers throughout Kent and Medway.We will actively promote empowerment and inclusion into all aspects of our member's life and living with support, guidance, information, advocacy and understanding. We also specialise in independence training for young adults with any additional needs.

White Rose is a charity working towards the prevention of genocide and mass atrocities. By generating income through social enterprises and fundraising, we enable Aegis Trust and organisations and projects that partner with Aegis, to undertake genocide prevention work in five areas: peace and humanity education, trauma healing, care for survivors, advocacy and the preservation of memory.

Citizens Advice Derbyshire Districts provides free, impartial and confidential advice to people living in Amber Valley, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash, High Peak and surrounding areas to help them deal with the problems they face, and help to improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.

Staffordshire Students' Union is the representative body for its students. A focus of its work is the provision of a range of services aimed at improving academic, social, cultural and sporting experiences, building a sense of community and belonging to the University and wider community. It provides advice and guidance on academic, financial, employment, housing and welfare issues.
