The Charity was established to advance the education of the public by promoting and developing the artistic taste, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of contemporary music.

The charity members work within Airedale General Hospital running a shop and other activities to assist patients and visitors.

To maintain and improve standards of professional midwifery the Trust conducts and commissions research, publishes information, provides education and training and organises conferences, campaigns and other events. Through its benevolent fund the Trust makes grants to midwives and others who need financial help.

The trustees operate a grant giving policy, providing funds for such charitable object or instituion as the trustees think fit.

We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to the public. We aim to give people the advice they need for the problems they face, to help people understand and exercise their rights and responsibilities, and to improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives. We value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination.

Grants made primarily to nationally recognised charities. The Trust Deed specifically prohibits grants to individuals.

Provide free, independent, specialist debt advice to individuals and their families. Provide energy debt and efficiency advice, benefits and income maximisation advice.Provide money mentoring support via our self-help service, appointments and group workshops.Services can be delivered face-to-face for people living in Bristol and the surrounding area, and by phone or email across England.

THE ORGANISATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO HAVE SEVERE LEARNING DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING A HOME BASED RESPITE CARE SERVICE, SATURDAY CLUB, HOLIDAY SCHEMES AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. THE ORGANISATION HAS A CHARITY SHOP WHICH RAISES FUNDS FOR THE CHARITY.THE CHARITY HAS A HOLIDAY BUNGALOW FOR USE.

Provision of advice services to the people living and working in the London Borough of Croydon and surrounding areas.

The trustees award grants to UK registered charities, supporting educational projects, the promotion of world peace and overseas development.

Voluntary Action Swindon is the local Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) in Swindon. As an infrastructure organisation, Voluntary Action Swindon offers capacity building support to voluntary and community organisations; it represents their interests and provides a voice for them in policy-making. All voluntary and community organisations in the Borough of Swindon are our target groups.

The Charity's principal activity is the conservation, preservation and establishment of trees, plants and all forms of wildlife in the United Kingdom and to secure and enhance the enjoyment by the public of the natural environment of those territories. The Charity has continued its policy of acquiring land and establishing woodlands.

We're the only UK-wide charity dedicated to supporting those with Tourette syndrome. We provide practical advice, resources, and advocacy; deliver training within education, employment, and healthcare; build peer networks through our groups and residential weekends; campaign to tackle stigma; lobby for better NHS services; and promote research to improve treatments and quality of life.

Switchboard, the LGBT Helpline provides a telephone, instant messaging and email helpline service from 10am to 10pm every day of the year. We are a safe space for anyone to discuss anything, including sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing. We support people to explore the right options for themselves.

The Trust makes grants to Charities selected by the Trustees in accordance with the Trust Deed. It regrets that it is unable to entertain unsolicited approaches.
