Mountain Rescue Team

To promote the advancement of the Christian religion in Cumbria, working with all denominations for the relief of poverty and the advancement of education to encourage churches in the county to grow together in trust and mutual acceptance through shared worship, learning, service and the promotion of ecumenical strategies.

To help educate young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical and mental capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and their conditions of life may improve by the provision of outdoor pursuits at education centers in the North of England and Scottish Borders.

The charity provides public benefit by making donations to charitable institutions or charitable organisations selected by the trustees mainly in Sussex, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire and the northern area of the Lake District.

Restoring and conserving Lowther Castle and gardens, promoting public access to this nationally significant building and offering access to high quality information about the site, covering history, conservation, economics and culture.

The societies activities are the production of full scale musicals performed by both senior and junior members. These members perform the musicals for the general public of Workington and surrounding area.

Keswick Youth Centre Services-CIO provide youth activity sessions that supports the personal, social, educational physical & mental health of young people to ensure that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and their conditions of life are improved.KYCS provides a safe space to enable young people to develop positive relationships

Youth Presence works with and supports children and young people. We will do this through the provision of recreational and leisure time activities. We will provide support, activities and opportunities which develop skills, capacities and capabilities. We will provide personal, social and spiritual education. We are based in Kendal, we work in the North West of England - Cumbria/Lancashire.

Our activities are to promote the Buddhist faith throught the activities of teaching, study, practice and the observance of moral discipline, all within the Mahayana Buddhist Tradition of Atisha and Je Tsongkhapa as taught by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

Cockermouth Junior Football Club aims to promote the playing of football by young people in the Cockermouth area.We aim to provide a safe and friendly environment to play football for all children.
