We work within the town of Kendal giving financial aid to families in need of help for home equipment such as baby equipment, beds and white goods.

A parent-run group which exists to raise money for Blennerhasset School and its pupils

Serving the local commummity and educational needs of the community.

Welfare of serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

Provision of meeting place for social and educational community activities.

Local activities, church activities, songs of praise etc, Sunday school, local charity fundraising, local hospital support, youth organisations, mountain rescue teams, womens institute.

Maintaining and running the Village Hall. Organising social functions for the community. Providing facilities for local residents and organisations to hold functions in the Village Hall. Arranging meetings to consider village matters and issues of local interest.

Provides practical workshops and a Summer School within the field of early music.

Children/Young people, Elderly/Old people, General public/mankind, Sport recreation.Organised through Management Committee, with election of Officers annually at ~AGM - Chair/Vice Chair/Secretary/Treasurer/Booking officer/Maintenance Officers etc.

GENERAL CHARITABLE SERVICES

Remembering the Past, Resourcing the Future is an innovative, user-led project to create a web-based community history of 20th century North Tyneside and its surrounding areas, based on the memories of older people. Material collected by RPRF is disseminated to local schools in various forms to support the local history element of the national curriculum.

Maintaining village hall and organising social and fundraising events

Sedbergh Pepperpot Club Members enjoy mainly cultural events while raising funds towards music fees for local youngsters. Orchestral instruments are lent out for the annual costs of insurance cover. The Pepperpot Music Makers orchestra is an after-school activity at Sedbergh Primary School open to children from nearby schools; players in the Sedbergh Orchestra are drawn from the whole community .

By assisting residents and businesses in the Keswick area to plan, prepare and recover from an emergency.By holding the community emergency plan?(CEP) for Keswick.By working in partnership with local voluntary and statutory organisations to plan and respond to an emergency situation.By the use of volunteers and other resources to provide assistance during and after an emergency.
