OUR PRINCIPLE AIM IS TO SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WHO WISH TO ENJOY OUTDOOR EDUCATION. WE PROVIDE ACCESS AND SUPPORT FOR THOSE WITH A DISABILITY AND PROVIDE GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE PLACES AT DERWENT HILL FOR THOSE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. OUR MAIN SOURCE OF FUNDS IS FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND BURSARIES.

Grants for Christian Education in the parishes of Rusland and Satterthwaite or associated parishes

Since 2002 over 5000 trees have been planted in Beckermet Cumbria on farm land which has been named Little Mesopotamia as it lies on a site between two tributaries of the river Ehen. The charity aims to nurture and care for an experimental botanical collection,to protect the natural environment for the benefit of wildlife, and to encourage understanding of conservation issues with guided tours.

SUPPORT GROUP MADE UP OF PARENTS AND STAFF FOR THE SCHOOL TO RAISE MONEY FOR ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES AND PROVIDE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE SCHOOL AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

To relieve sickness, infirmity and the disabilities attendant amongst persons living in South Cumbria and North Lancashire by providing a local broadcasting service for hospitals, hospices, old persons homes and similar institutions and, wherever possible, providing a similar service within the local community to assist patients receiving care in the community.

Diversions' is a support network, based in the North West of England, for families with a child or young person living with a bladder or bowel diversion / dysfunction. We provide opportunities for people to experience a range of different fun activities through our regular programme of events. These include outdoor adventures and team building tasks, art work-shops and day trips out

We support Rosley C of E School by fund raising to provide the children at the school with the extra items that the school itself may not be able to fund.

Oxen Park Cinema Club shows a diverse mix of mainstream, arthouse, and international films from September through April each year. Nestled in the south of the Lake District, the club provides a high-quality cinema experience to the rural communities of Colton Parish and its surroundings at its purpose-built Carthouse Cinema.

To discover, collect and preseve archival records whether public or private wittin or concerning Lonsdale North of the Sands (means that part of Cumbria anciently known as Lonsdale North of the Sands and formerly part of the County of Lancashire). Assisting the publication of Archival material by giving some small grants to individuals.

1. Summer outing which includes a coach trip to a pre-determined venue also including a 3 course lunch.2. Xmas party which includes a 4 course xmas lunch with entertainment and refreshments.

The Charity manages and maintains The Coronation Hall, Ulverston, a community venue and hub which hosts events, festivals, meetings and workshops. It provides support to organisations that utilise the Hall for the benefit and entertainment of audiences and encourages participation in community, arts and charitable activities that strengthen the cultural life of the area.
