Family functions, fundraising events, club meetings, badminton and workshops. Budget accommodation for groups such as scouts etc.

The Charity's purposes are the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion and the relief of sick, handicapped, disabled and infirm persons by assisting in the transport of such persons to a recognised shrine, primarily to Lourdes, France but also in the UK or elsewhere.

Community facility

To provide money to schemes that will benefit the Villages of Heversham and Milnthorpe in Cumbria.

The Crayton Charity manages a small village field.Bequeathed by a Mr Crayton (circa 1850) to ensure some education for the children of Nateby. Over many years, circumstances have altered regarding education and the amount of money provided by the legacy. However every Christmas surplus income from the letting of the field is distributed to the children.

TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO VULNERABLE PEOPLE OF ANY AGE WHO LIVE WITHIN THE DUDDON PARISH BOUNDARY. THIS MAY INCLUDE PRACTICAL SUPPORT, MEALS TOGETHER WITH TELEPHONE OR PERSONAL CONTACT, TO ENCOURAGE POSITIVE OR MENTAL HEALTH

The purpose of a village hall for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Hethersgill & neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for the use of meetings, classes, lectures & other forms of recreation & leisuretime activities. Operates as Hethersgill Parish Hall and its management committee are trustees of the charity.

1. Summer outing which includes a coach trip to a pre-determined venue also including a 3 course lunch.2. Xmas party which includes a 4 course xmas lunch with entertainment and refreshments.

The purpose of the charity is:* To raise money to fund resources, visits and visitors to enhance the provision for all the children of Seascale School* Engage in activities which support the school and advance the experiences of the pupils attending it. * Develop relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.

Promotion of the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential.It provides an enjoyable & attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promises and Law and guided by adult leadership.

To promote the social inclusion of men who are living within a 10 mile radius of Grange-over-Sands

Shamrock steamed for a total of 18 days during 2023 to 2024 during which she was on display on the lake and around Windermere Jetty Museum. It took part in the Coronation Steam. A booklet The Story of Shamrock sold about 550 copies, surplus after printing cost going to the Trust. A comprehensive risk assessment was prepared. There now fifty friends who contribute to maintaining the vessel. .

Fundraising for St Bees Village School via social and sporting events.

General Charitable purposes

The village hall (The Browfoot Room) supports the local community by providing facilities for a diverse range of social, educational and sports functions.The hall is currently undergoing a major refurbishment programme to increase its effectiveness in the community even further.

To assist people living with dementia and their carers throughout South Lakeland by providing information in relation to local services, activities and events. Monthly Hub sessions held - see Kendal Dementia Action Alliance website or facebook page for further information.

3.1. The advancement of education for the public benefit in Seascale and surrounding area by the provision of a volunteer run lending library.

We manage the hall as a facility which local organisations can use for meetings and functions and which local residents can hire for family parties, funeral teas and small wedding receptions.
