Cumbria Victims Charitable Trust generates additional income to supplement the funding provided by the Ministry of Justice for victims services. The Trust assists by expanding services to support the needs of victims of crime and antisocial behaviour who are in need of financial assistance to help meet costs incurred as a result of their becoming the victim crime or antisocial behaviour.

Our charity aims to keep the Village Hall open to the community and we are non profit making with all of monies recieved going to the running costs & any repair works needed to keep the hall in a safe condition for the public.

For the benefit of the public to maintain, repair, restore, preserve , improve and enhance the fabric of the church of Keswick St. John in the Diocese of Carlisle, its monuments, fixtures, fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its churchyard.

Support group for people with Down's Syndrome, their families and carers. Providing day trips, leisure activities, Events to bring the community together. collaborating with other community groups and national health services to provide more cohesive services in the area.

Annually trustees give Bibles to Dean school leavers. The trust leases its playing field to Cumbria CC for Dean school's use. An annual loan repayment is made for land under Dean school/community sports/arts hall, the use of which benefits children's physical & social education. Annually trustees pay into Carlisle Diocesan Barchester Scheme to aid Dean school's v aided status.

Provision of First Responder Services to several villages in the Lyth Valley Area of South Lakeland,Cumbria under the direction of the North West Ambulance Service.

FURTHERING AND MAINTAINING AN INTEREST IN MUSIC FOR YOUNG PEOPLE,PRESENTING MUSIC CONCERTS CATERING FOR ALL TASTES, AND,RAISING MONIES FOR CHURCHES, CHARITIES AND OTHER WORTHWHILE CAUSES.TRADING NAMES:-YOUTH MUSICLYTHAM PROMENADE ORCHESTRACAMERATA LIDUN

consultant body on all disability issues in South Copeland Cumbria, and a non-political campaigning group, supporting all disability groups in Cumbria,and the UK

Fund-raising via sponsored events; raffles; covenants/donations; fun events;Christmas bingo; summer fair. Provides Christmas presents for pupils; Easter eggs for egg hunt; helps school financially with special projects e.g. outdoor play area and equipment.All for benefit of Kirkoswald School pupils

We have provided and maintained a hall which has been regularly used, such as by the village Sunshine Club (the over 60s), activities for young people run by North Copeland Youth Partnership, and various functions like wedding receptions and bithday parties. The hall is also used by the Parish Council and the County Council for meetings.

Grants for Children/Young People/University Students from Embleton & Wythop in the following areas:-For books and other equipment to help with project work.Grants for students with special educational needs who need specialist equipment to help them in their study.

Carrying out general charitable purposes; beneficiaries include children, young people and the elderly and other defined groups.The method of operation is by awarding grants.

AMBLESIDE ACTION FOR A FUTURE is a network of local residents working together to mitigate climate and environmental breakdown and build community resilience.

To advance in life and help young people, especially but not exclusively through the provision of funding, for experience, activity and equipment to help to develop their capabilities and education that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. To enable opportunity and enrich positive life experience for young people in Millom and surrounding areas.

Educational Adults

Beetham Exhibition Trust is a local charity which uses it's annual income to provide educational grants for year 6 primary school pupils who are due to enter state secondary education. Pupils moving onto non-state secondary education may also be considered. Pupil's parents must live in the civil parishs of Beetham or Arnside and pupils must have attended a state school for the last three years.

Consideration on applications from organisations within the community for monetary grants to assist with the development of community projects.
