Fundraising via a range of events including, but not limited to; Annual Christmas Fair, Valentine's Ball, Pantomime, Coffee Morning, Monthly Quiz, Voluntary Donations.

Our WI looks after the interests of its members and is affiliated to the Cumbria County federation and the National federation.

a variety of fund raising activities centres on the school e.g. fayres, raffles, sales etc

The objects are the relief of suffering, sickness and mental and emotional distress of people, particularly children and young adults suffering from brain tumours, their families and carers. Funds are actively raised through events and the sale of merchandise to support individuals and organisations, either carrying out research or providing care within the charity's remit above.

The welfare and settlement of members living in Cumbria, a bereavement cooperative,preservation of the Nepalese Culture so our members can celebrate feast days in the UK,support members by providing English classes for those who need, educational tour and interpretation and translation help for members.

Cheques where made to local activities to help with expenses

Helping to improve the community by offering assistance in whatever capacity we can. Giving help to the extent of our capability to anyone who asks and assisting community groups, particularly the young and the elderly, to enable them to improve their life and social conditions. Offering individual services to others, confidentially and as required.

Amateur Sport

To promote issues of concern and interest relevant to all women and to engage with the membership through regular monthly meetings

The trustees administer funds left by various benefactors for the relief of needs not covered by social services for inhabitants of Old Hutton and Holmescales. This may cover a wide area of circumstances under the terms of the charity. Payments may be made to relieve sudden distress, or grants may be made to help with the problems of age, infirmity, widowhood etc.

Grants towards the upkeep and repair of the fabric of the Parish Church of the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Cuthberts Kirkby Ireleth and the maintenance of the services therein.

Womens group for companionship, education and debating current issues.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL

The Educational Foundation uses its income to help young people under the age of 25 who live within the parish of St Anthony's Church, Cartmel Fell. It provides assistance in purchasing text books, tools and other equipment necessary for their education. It also supports communal events for children to help foster friendship and community relations in a widespread rural area.

GENERAL CHARITABLE PORPOSES

Makes grants to individuals in the Cumbria area to relieve poverty.

Monitoring and commenting on planning applications. Liaison with local authority and railway companies over proposed developments. Lectures on relevant topics. Visits to other Civic Societies, conservation projects, historic towns and buildings. Maintenance of public gardens, community orchard and street floral displays. Organising Grange in Bloom competition and entry to Cumbria in Bloom.

Bi-monthly meetings with speakers. Fundraising ride. Tack sale. Research bridleways for historical evidence. Clearing overgrown bridleways

HELP FOR INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS

Preservation of and education about the heritage of the parish for locals and visitors alike

Provision of a centre for general village activities:- Childrens parties. Meetings of Parish Council.Meetings of Church Council. Play Group activites. and meetings. Organising Village sports day, and Duck Race day : Organising, and Venue for The Annual Village Show etc.

To maintain and manage a recreational facility (a general playing field including cricket pitch) for the benefit of the residents of Seascale and the surrounding areas. The ground is used for the organised playing of cricket and the activities of a local dog training club, in addition the general public have access to the ground at all times for informal recreation including dog excercise.

Donating incomings to Broughton in Furness educational charities

Giving small grants to students entering higher education who are resident in the Parish of Allithwaite. Cumbria.

This is a purely local charity to help children in the village of Killington with educational expenses, cost of uniforms, books and university expenses.
