The RJ Weston Duffield Charity exists to relieve the charitable needs of older persons in Duffield and the surrounding area in particular by the provision of a day centre.The day centre is in Tamworth Street, Duffield and is called The Weston Centre.

Jesus Christ International Ministries (JCIM) operates in Liverpool and has two other branch in Whiston, St. Helens and Derby. It also support our three main churches in the Philippines. The charity donates money to schools and students in the Arusha Archdiocese in Tanzania. It also sponsors young people from a Catholic secondary school in Derby who have just completed their A levels to visit schools and parishes there for three months. They are able to socialise with the Tanzanian students and help them with their English.

We are a registered chairty which is run by parent/carer volunteers with children/young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities. To raise funds for the education of children primarily in Burundi and other african countries including DR of Congo. This is done at present through an education sponsorship scheme and through individual donations. We are devising material for schools informing them of the work of Restoration of Hope for assemblies, etc and asking them if they are able to raise funds for Hope in Burundi.
