Hope House School is an Independent School providing education and support for children and young people between the ages of 5 to 19 with an Autism diagnosis and associated conditions. The principal aim of the charity is the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homingh (except for our equines and farm animals) of stray and unwanted animals. The Charity provides care and shelter for stray, neglected and unwanted animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, cows and pigs.

DRCS provides confidential professional counselling for a range of issues including bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem and relationship problems for residents of Derbyshire and beyond

Derbyshire House provides residential care for anyone over the age of 65 years, who because of physical and some mental incapacity requires help with daily living. The trust aims to provide a warm, loving home for older people who are in need of care. The home is registered by the Commission for Social Care Inspection as a provider of residential care for older people.

To promote the permanent preservation for the benefit of the public generally and especially of the inhabitants of the Borough of Buxton in the County of Derby of lands and buildings of beauty, environmental or historic interest.

Upbeat Communities aims to relieve the charitable needs of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in particular those coming to the United Kingdom and to promote racial harmony for the public benefit. This is achieved by practical help, advice and education delivered directly to meet individual needs. This work is currently carried out in the Counties of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

Lighthouse Homes is a Registered Charity which offers medium and long-term faith-based accommodation to the homeless, with emphasis on helping those with a history of life-controlling issues, including addictions.

Provision of passenger transport for individual or organisations who have difficulty in accessing conventional public transport

Provide safe, secure supported accommodation for homeless males aged 18 and over. The Trust, founded in 1995 is committed to inclusion & operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The provision of accommodation is the visible tip of the comprehensive support service provided to those, regardless of gender, who are homeless, threatened with becoming homeless, or in need from across our communities.

Adoption services including family finding and post adoption support, supporting children and young people who need emotional support following family change, including bereavement (Spiral), domestic abuse, parental separation, safeguarding consultancy and training.

The objects of the branch are to promote the work of the National Society of the RSPCA, with particular emphasis on the Burton-on-Trent & District Branch.The key aim is to find suitable permanent new homes for as many animals as possible, and to provide proper care for those who have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned.

Renewal North West is a Christian charity set up to help the long term unemployed break down barriers that stop them from gaining employment such as addiction, homelessness, lack of education and opportunity. We provide work experience and skills development as well as accommodation enabling people to rebuild their lives. We also provide low cost household items to those who need them.

Provision of theological training courses and resources delivered in partnership with local churches.Advance the education, training and personal formation of Christian leaders.

Independent education for children aged 4 to 11. Some bursaries are available for pupils attending St Peter & St Paul School.

Providing supported housing to vulnerable adults

To provide transport facilities for those residents of West Derbyshire, southern Derbyshire Dales focused on Ashbourne and surrounding villages, East Staffordshire and Staffordshire Moorlands (southern Peak) who have difficulty in using public transport because of age, sickness, mental or physical disability, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Belper Leisure Centre Limited provides Belper School and area schools with a range of leisure facilities for curriculum requirement. Additionally the centre provides a range of community leisure activities for the purposes of social welfare, general recreation and leisure pursuit. These are provided for all sections of the community regardless of age, infirmity, disablement or social standing.
