Providing a playing field for both organised & recreational sport. A hall for meetings & other activities (ie Playgroup,WI,Bridge etc). All maintained by volunteers clipping, mowing & cleaning.

Tean Valley Meadow is an 11 acre nature reserve in East Staffordshire, which since 2002 has been developed to provide unique habitats for local wildlife. The trust exists to maintain and develop the reserve as well as educating and promoting the importance of convervation to the public through courses, visits, talks and events.

The charity runs a hall, facilities & clubs for the use by the residents of the area with particular reference to the young, elderly, infirmed & disabled.

The aims of the Charity are to relieve poverty by the provision of social housing in the form of almshouse accommodation for the beneficiaries and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide. The Charity owns three almshouses in the parish of Longford, Ashbourne which provide accommodation for local residents. The properties are currently fully occupied.

To provide facilities and a playing field in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Linton, Castle Gresley and other surrounding villages in South Derbyshire.

The orchestra performs 6 concerts per year in Derby and the surrounding area. These comprise four concerts with classical works, one at Christmas with popular music for families and one aimed at children. The orchestra is keen to widen access to both its players and to audiences. We offer concessions to seniors and students both on players' subscriptions and on the entrance fee to most concerts.

The instruction of young people of all classes in the principles of discipline, loyalty and good citizenship.

Currently we have more than 600 members, who may attend one or more of over 40 "interest groups" of varying disciplines ranging from Art Appreciation to Walking. Each interest group is led by a dedicated Coordinator.

Provision of housing

The rescue and rehabilitation of injured swans, cygnets and other animals, by providing a rescue, hospital and treatment facilities. To also further educate the public on how to reduce suffering to such animals.

SSBB seeks to advance the education of young people of Stockport and Greater Manchester in the pursuit of music making through its organisation, support, training and provision of music facilities. SSBB continues to advance the education of the general public in the art of brass band music through continuing to perform in public in many different venues including theatres, churches and schools.

General fund raising locally to assist other local bodies.Annual bonfire and firework display - nonprofit making

Each year we hold 2 coffee mornings and the money raised is donated to local charities chosen by our members.We also have a monthly meeting when we have member led activities or a speaker. Throughout the year we have a number of workshops for different crafts and there are some sub-groups for gardening around the village, Art group and Knit and Natter.

Development of knowledge, life skills, initiative, self-confidence and community spirit of young people via Scouting activities.

THE CHURCH CHARITY PROVIDES GRANTS TO THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF ST JAMES CHURCH SMISBY TO ENABLE THAT ORGANISATION TO APPLY SUCH GRANTS IN MAINTAINING ST JAMES CHURCH, ITS CHURCHYARD AND CHURCHYARD GATES, AND IN OTHERWISE MAINTAINING THE SERVICES THEREAT.

We provide after-school and school-holiday care to children between the age of 3 and 11 in Tideswell and surrounding villages.We operate the activities in a safe environment, activities include creative arts and design, modelling and craftwork, outdoor games, cooking, indoor sports, reading and quiet areas. Video, DVD's and computer activities are also available.We also run trips

The PTA organises and runs a variety of social and fundraising events for the school community.

VILLAGE HALL PROVISION for Beeley village and the surrounding area. Use for social and or educational purposes.By trust deed dated 1976. Leased from the trustees of the Chatsworth Settlement held by Beeley Parish Council.Administration is vested in the Committee of Management,the trustees.

Provision of a community centre to provide facilities for social, educational, cultural and recreational activities for the benefit of the people of Willington and the surrounding areas.
