The charity pre-dominantly focuses on educational activities which serves in the main the local community of Derby. Various educational courses are operated across the year.The charity also works with statutory organisation's and other charities in order to sign post services offered by them.

To advance the relief of sickness and financial hardship, promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods, and services, including counselling and support wherever possible through and to the furtherance of the christian faith.

We run and develop groups for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who live in the Wingerworth area.Each group has weekly meetings in term time plus appropriate activities for each age group, such as weekend camps and introductions to a variety of activities, including sailing and archery,as well as the annual November bonfire. The group is run by volunteers, who will always welcome help from others.

Provide housing to aged poor people in Bakewell, Derbyshire

Stanton Village Hall provides a community building for physical and mental training, and the recreational, social, moral and intellectual development of inhabitants of Stanton and the immediate vicinity. The Hall hosts activities such as tai chi, karate, keep-fit, and support groups. It hosts the local defibrillator and runs community activities (litterpicks, village social events).

Support over 50's and disabled group, local brownies, first steps, NHS blood donor sessions, keep fit and dancing classes. Wild life trust, town twinning meetings and surgeries for Amber Valley Borough Council.

Listening and attending to people needindg spiritual support in a quiet environment.Providing a study resource centre for the ministry of healing, christian spirituality and mysticism.Being available to groups and individuals seeking help in creating good practice in the christian healing ministry.

Mansfield Wildlife Rescue provides help for injured, abandoned and orphaned native wildlife with the aim to return those in care back to their natural habitat. Some examples of the wildlife we look after are badgers, foxes, hedgehogs, birds of prey, swallows etc. The areas we cover are Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
