Fundraising for school

The study and practice of choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance.To assist and support such charitable institutions or purposes as the committee shall from time to time determine.

Building available for local groups to meet.

We have weekly rehearsals where through internal and external coaching we educate and develop members singing skills. Members are given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills entertaining the public and in competition at the annual British Barbershop Competition

"The Old School House" is used in the furtherance of the objectives of the CIO to benefit the public, to advance the Christian faith, to contribute to the spiritual and moral education of children and to promote community cohesion through open meetings, talks, discussion groups and courses. Community support continues via low cost rentals to local volunteer-run organisation.

To promote, maintain, improve and advance education in particular by the production of educational plays and the encouragement of the arts including drama, dance and song in the area of Killamarsh and surrounding areas in Derbyshire.

The objective is to provide friendship, education and leisure activities without distinction of political, religious or ethnic opinions in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Fund raising events held throughout the year. This year our aim is to help throughout the school with various small things rather than a large project. Funds are raised by: Discos, Santa in school, ice cream, Summer fayre, raffles.

Fund raising activities for Brockwell Junior School

Gives small grants to students who are about to start their second year of further education.They must have attended Mosborough Village Primary school and the local Secondary School.Income is raised from the renting of a residential property.

Community Hall

Shoutout is a friendly, inclusive group for adults with additional needs in South Derbyshire and the surrounding area. We provide a weekly Friday evening drop-in for adults with additional needs at Woodville Youth Centre, and a monthly drop-in on the first Wednesday evening of each month at Winshill Neighbourhood Resource Centre in Burton on Trent, plus other activities, trips and social outings.

The objects of the charity are: the relief of poverty, the promotion of religion, the advance of public eduction and the promotion of any other purpose which is charitable according to the law of England and Wales.The primary focus of the charity at the present time is relief of poverty and the funding of education in India.

Provision and Management of Village Hall facilities

We are a voluntary group of people who provide a safe stable environment in which young people can pursue their activities in a structured group. We help provide and run careers advice, general youth work, boxing lessons, music nights, cooking lessons, health issues support & many other subsiduary groups.

To maintain, repair, restore, preserve, improve and enhance the fabric of St Wystan's Church, Repton, its monuments, fixtures fittings, furniture, stained glass, ornaments and other chattels and its church yard.

The Trusts aim is to provide an outdoor centre for use by the general community, including the disadvantaged, disabled or deprived youngsters, to experience the challenge of living and working together in a really stimulating environment. Crookstone Barn provides dormitory accommodation for up to 23.It has a spacious common room, large kitchen, showers and toilets and all amenities.

To give public performances of classical and other music; to promote and encourage an appreciation of music amongst all age groups.

Street Pastors patrol the streets in Chesterfield Town centre on Saturday nights and seek to help vulnerable people reach home, help injured people access hospitals, care for and listen to those in need and assist the police as and when needed. Volunteers are well trained and work in a team of three or four. School Pastors work in 2 local schools to support the schools mission.

Ashbourne Singers/Young Ashbourne Singers supported charities in its programme of concerts: - St Oswald?s - British Legion Remembrance - British Heart Foundation - Theo TrustAshbourne Singers has also formed a link with the Orchestra du Soisy sur Seine, France - this is part of the friendship between the two towns - choir visited Soisy in Dec and orchestra came to Ashbourne in May.

To educate the public generally in the works the work of Gilbert and Sullivan, known as the Savoy operas. This is achieved by the performance of concerts, full productions and other activities.To advance the public appreciation of dramatic, musical and operatic arts of a high standard, and carry out other charitable activities as the charity sees fit.

A concert band based in Ashby De La Zouch of over 50 playing members with a wide age range.Rehearses weekly during school term times. Entry standard for playing members ABRSM grade 5 or equivalent.Holds 3-4 public concerts annually, many in collaboration with other charities. Undertakes occasional tours.

crafting2gether is a Dronfield based charity providing hand crafted products for use by other charitable organisations and their service users. All products are given free of charge at the point of need. We also offer twice weekly crafting sessions, where volunteers and service users meet, craft, learn and support the charity and we run workshops at cost only aimed at learning or honing skills.
