Al Hurraya is a peer-led culturally specific charity that provides bespoke personalised and culturally sensitive interventions to meet the needs of ethnically diverse communities in and around Nottingham and Derby who are experiencing a range of challenges

The Foundation promotes wellbeing through the scientific understanding and application of Compassion Focused Therapy and compassionate mind training. It supports research and provides trainings (including workshops, conferences and diploma) as well as resources and opportunities for professional community networking and general public support.

AVSSP CIO operates in the borough of Amber Valley and surrounding areas in Derbyshire. Our organisation was set up to support schools and community groups access high quality PE and sport provision which will develop life long skills and create healthy and active lifestyles. The charity operates in the Derwent, Mackworth and Normanton areas of Derby and aims to support families in a holistic way. Our Nursery settings support paying customers, adult learners and those eligible for the Free Early Education Entitlement. Learners can access children's workforce training from traineeships to Level 3 apprenticeship qualifications.

To provide an independent education for children aged 2.5 - 11 years. Scholarships for entry into years 3 to 6 are available every year to external candidates and into year 3 for internal candidates. The school is non-selective. Means tested bursaries are available.

The Charitys primary objective, is to establish and maintain, on a non-profit-making basis, a community transport scheme for the benefit of the communities within Derbyshire.

The principal activity of Derbyshire Mind is to promote the preservation and safeguarding of mental health and the relief of persons suffering from mental disorder.

The Mid Derbyshire Methodist Circuit provides staff, resources and facilities to enable the 21 churches in the Mid Derbyshire Area to provide facilities and activities for all, including young people, families and the elderly. This provision involves: ministerial/spiritual leadership; pastoral support for all service users; community outreach links and programmes across the Mid Derbyshire Area.

Using cricket and sport-related activities and programmes to advance health and well-being, education, social inclusion and community cohesion for children, young people and adults living in Derbyshire, with a particular focus on populations who may have greater needs and limited opportunities to access the benefits of these activities

The object of the Company is to provide a community transport service for such of the inhabitants of Stockport and its surrounding area who are in need of such a service because of age, sickness or disability (mental or physical), or poverty, or because of a lack of availability of adequate and safe public passenger services.

Religious activities

The Friends carry out conservation and improvement on and around the Grade II* listed Bennerley Viaduct on the Derbyshire-Nottinghamshire border. We inform the public through guided walks, talks, publications, exhibitions, outreach activities, social media and a website. Our work with schools delivers learning about local heritage. We raise funds for conservation and improved access to the site.

The RSPCA Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA. We carry out our animal welfare work in the areas of Chesterfield and North Derbyshire. Our main aim is to take in mistreated, abandoned and unwanted animals and find them new permanent homes. We also carry out activities to promote responsible pet ownership.

The Derbyshire Association OF the Blind aims to enhance the quality of visually impaired peoples' lives by providing a comprehensive range of services and activities throughout Derbyshire.
