Pulp Friction Smoothie Bar CIO supports adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism to develop their social, work readiness and independent living skills through a variety of activities that are person centered and focus on catering and hospitality, gardening and horticulture, social events such as running a choir. Supporting health related voluntary organisations and community groups across Derbyshire

The Mid Derbyshire Methodist Circuit provides staff, resources and facilities to enable the 21 churches in the Mid Derbyshire Area to provide facilities and activities for all, including young people, families and the elderly. This provision involves: ministerial/spiritual leadership; pastoral support for all service users; community outreach links and programmes across the Mid Derbyshire Area.

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary continues its work started in 1988 of rescuing domestic or pet animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and many other smaller animals, as well as horses and ponies and some goats, sheep, hens and ducks. We give them relief from abandonment, abuse or neglect. We care for them, assess and treat them as needed and find good permanent homes for them.

PASIC provide practical, financial and social support to the families of children and young people living with cancer. Our family support workers help families build support networks to reduce isolation. We also offer financial assistance and organise activities such as parties, trips and other events so that families can spend quality time together away from the stresses of the hospital.

Programme and activities offered to all it's voluntary members incorporating the five key features that provide the basis of effective guiding - those being 1) working together in small groups 2) decision making as individuals & groups 3) a girl led balanced and varied programme 4) care for the individual member and their fulfilment 5) a shared commitment to a common standard.

Help,guidance and training in sport and personal development for young people from all walks of life

The charity employs people who would otherwise find multiple barriers to entry, such as homelessness, addiction history, and ex-offenders. We offer support and mentoring through volunteers and own subsidiary social enterprise trading companies that employ these people. We currently operate in Nottinghamshire

The principle activities are:Counselling young people using volunteer counsellors working in schools and youth centres.Training volunteer counsellors in-house and using external trainers.Training school staff in relevant issues.Training young people in schools.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITES INCLUDING:FEEDING PROGRAMMES AND SOCIAL ACTION AMONGST HOMELESS AND MARGINALISED, WEEKLY GROUPS AIMED AT MEETING NEEDS OF THOSE AGED FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH TO SENIOR CITIZENS, CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY WORK, OVERSEAS AID.

Provide safe, secure supported accommodation for homeless males aged 18 and over. The Trust, founded in 1995 is committed to inclusion & operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The provision of accommodation is the visible tip of the comprehensive support service provided to those, regardless of gender, who are homeless, threatened with becoming homeless, or in need from across our communities.

Base 51 supports the holistic well-being of young people aged 11 to 25 through: Counselling, Safe Space : one to one support, advice and guidance, youth Groups, LGBTQ youth group :Outburst,Evolution: support for young people affected by serious violence, food, laundry and showers. Base 51 runs a professional training academy ( accredited) , and is based in NGY myplace centre in Nottingham

To provide food, drinks, clothing and a hot shower every day of the year to homeless and disadvantaged people plus advice on housing, debt, jobs, health( with a nurse available 2 days a week and a doctor 2 days a week) and drugs and alcohol and classes in English, Maths, IT and art. To provide advocacy on benefit and housing appeals. To promote health, safety and confidence building.

The Rescue and rehoming of cats and dogs, provision of neccessary veterinary care and treatment, promotion of good practice in animal care and welfare. In co-operation with the British Hen Welfare Trust, assisting with the rescue and re-homing of commercial laying hens.

The purpose is the prevention and relief of poverty in and around the area of the High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire. At present the activities consist of operating a food bank, wellbeing activities to improve or manage mental health, community eco-cafe, employability support, advice, signposting and work and skills training for job-seekers.

Disability Solutions provides information, advice and support to people with disabilities, their families and carers.We operate across all disabilities and ages.The range of services covers benefits,finance, equipment advice, personal health budgets and personalisation, mobility and access advice, holidays and leisure activities, consultation and representation, other health related issues.
