DBFCT trustees meet once a year to consider applications for funding from individuals and organisations primarily in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

Upkeep of the Village Hall

The object of this charity is to advance education in the arts for the public benefit among economically and socially disadvantaged primary school children in Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and neighbouring counties by providing them with access to free creative arts-based activities including visual arts, drama, dance, music, singing, gardening and cookery.

The object of the charity is provision and maintenance of Paxford Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the village and neighbourhood. The work is funded by the organisation of charitable events and lettings of the hall. An example of the events includes quiz nights, barbecues, coffee mornings and the Christmas Cracker.

Preparing for and presenting three to four choral concerts per year; co-operation and involvement in these activities with local schools, orchestras and other organisations; singing for charity.

Maintenance of almshouses

To maintain in good order the hall called Prestbury Hall in the village of Prestbury Cheltenham for the use of the local community.

We award grants to relieve the needs of residents in Gloucestershire who are sick, convalescent, mentally or physically disabled or infirm. The grants cover the costs of items, services etc. which alleviate their suffering or assist their recovery. We also make training grants to health care professionals engaged in community healthcare in Gloucestershire.

CARE, MAINTENANCE AND HIRING OUT OF SOUTHAM VILLAGE HALL. REGULAR USER GROUPS INCLUDE KEEP FIT, PILATES, SEQUENCE DANCING, TABLE TENNIS, BRIDGE, DROP-IN, ART GROUP, LACE MAKING CLASSES AND VILLAGE SOCIAL EVENTS..

Music Alive provides opportunities for and with people with disabilities to create and enjoy music in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. Our activities aim to support the long-term development of disabled people and encourage the integration of disabled and non-disabled people through music and social interaction.

Global Footsteps is an educational charity whose mission is to focus on sustainable living and climate change through awareness raising, mutual learning and research. Specifically in Kenya to engage with community groups to help build economic independence that mitigates climate change and to work locally with like minded organisations to support ethical and sustainable projects.

The principal activity of the Trust is supporting The Chipping Norton Theatre Limited.

Religious activities

the conservation and enhancement of the church of St Mary the Virgin, Fairford ,Glos

The charity is supporting Jewish education - with its primary objective being bursarial support for Jewish pupils at Clifton College - though if funds allow it will consider supporting other forms of Jewish education in the UK.

Provide a Youth movement for members aged 10 - 26 in the Westbury on Severn Area, for everyone, not just Farmers.

The charity maintains and administers six residential units. There are seven trustees who give their time voluntarily. Priority is given to retired persons who where possible have a connection with HM Armed Forces.

The objects of the Charity are wide and the Trustees may pay, or apply, both income and capital for such charitable purposes as they, in their absolute discretion, see fit. The Trust does, however, promote and give particular support to music education in state schools in the old county of Avon.

Provision of village hall for parish events, meetings, social activities together with recreation ground for sporting activities. The geographical area covered is the parish of Tidenham although the use of the facilities is open to all for booking events.

To provide accommodation for people over the age of 60 and with limited means , living in the parish of St.Briavels, Gloucestershire.Where there are no applications meeting all three criteria, people with a connection to the village will be considered.

WORKING TOGETHER TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE, TO PRODUCE A PROGRAMME OF DRAMA AND MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTIONS IN WHICH MEMBERS PARTICIPATE

Donations to primarily local organisations to aid them in general or a specific activity.

The Hall provides a facility for the Village to use for leisure, sporting & educational purposes

Raising funds to help those students at Cleeve School who are finacially disadvantaged to play a full part in school life, and providing capital equipment which is not available through state funding.

Advancement of the Christian faith in particular in Hucclecote and the surrounding areas, and to help young people in Hucclecote to develop their capabilities that they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.
