Maintenance of almshouses

We are offering support online across the globe through our website and social media. Across the South West of England we offer practical support in the way of information packs sent/ handed out specific to where the member lives, as well as meet ups in towns & cities across the area plus home visits. We hold training days for medics to try to improve their knowledge and understanding of FND.

To maintain in good order the hall called Prestbury Hall in the village of Prestbury Cheltenham for the use of the local community.

Music Alive provides opportunities for and with people with disabilities to create and enjoy music in Wiltshire and the surrounding counties. Our activities aim to support the long-term development of disabled people and encourage the integration of disabled and non-disabled people through music and social interaction.

Bristol Area Cardiac Support formally Frenchay Hospital Cardiac Support Group was set up to give support to Members who had suffered Cardiac Trauma and had been cared for in Ward 103 in Frenchay Hospital, near Bristol. with the closing of Frenchay Hospital We now raise funds to purchase mediacl equipment when requested by Cardiac Medical Units in the Bristol area.

Fundraising activities

Provide a Youth movement for members aged 10 - 26 in the Westbury on Severn Area, for everyone, not just Farmers.

The charity maintains and administers six residential units. There are seven trustees who give their time voluntarily. Priority is given to retired persons who where possible have a connection with HM Armed Forces.

The charity maintains the recreation field for the village

Donations to primarily local organisations to aid them in general or a specific activity.

The Hall provides a facility for the Village to use for leisure, sporting & educational purposes

Promoting Enrichment activities for all at Cleeve School, raising funds to help those students at Cleeve School who are financially disadvantaged to play a full part in school life, and providing capital equipment which is not available through state funding.

To provide a means of social and recreational facilities to all persons residing within the parishes of Corse & Staunton and their invited guests.To foster, develop and control the pursuit of amateur sport encouraging an atmosphere of goodwill and friendship.To encourage active participation by all elements of the community, in particular, the young and female members.

With in the Pitchcombe Parish and surrounding local areas we provide facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants in regards to arts/culture, sport/recreation, economic/community development/stroke employment by providing buildings/facilities/open space.

The charity advances education for primary aged students in Gloucestershire who are primarily from disadvantaged backgrounds by providing fully funded tuition for the 11 plus Grammar school entrance examinations and fully funded general academic tuition for students struggling to access mainstream primary education.

We raise money to benefit the students & teachers of Katherine Lady Berkeley School.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall and its surrounding land for the population of Hewelsfield, Brockweir,and district for meetings,lectures,educational classes and organised events. Facility to play indoor bowls,yoga, tennis and other physical activities. Both indoor and outside activities for children and young people.

Agricultural Youth group

The charity works to run a Village Hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Arlingham and the local area and to provide education and community activities.

Charlton Kings Choral Society performs sacred and secular choral music to a high standard for the benefit of its members, and to promote and sustain musical cultural life in our local area and beyond. We take pride in including unjustly neglected works by British composers in our concert programmes and in the commissioning of new choral music from English composers.
