The Object of the CIO is to advance the Christian Religion in accordance with the Christian Faith, primarily but not exclusively within Gloucester and the surrounding area. Activities includes: Educating people about religion; Engaging in Missionary & Evangelical work; Pastoral care & Outreach; Blessings & Solemnisation of Marriages; Baby Blessings; Funeral Services, Prayers and Blessings.

U3A's are democratic, self funded, self managed organisations which exist to provide a full range of activities for men and women, no longer in full time employment, at minimal cost. They draw upon the knowledge, experience and skill of their members who organise the groups. At the moment we have groups including Walking, Skittles, Table Tennis, Family History,Art, Nature, Book groups, Mah Jong.

Raise funds for Upton St Leonards C of E School to assist with areas of pupils interest where funding is not available through LEA funding.

Annual activities include the mounting of a Senior Citizens Party, a free Fireworks Display, a Youth Orchestra Concert, an outing for Special Needs Children, a fund-raising Classic Car Rally, relief for International disasters and other small donations to deserving causes.

Regular renting of the hall for community activities such as Playgroup, Bridge Club, Dancing and other social events for residents of the Parish.

The Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association, founded in 1926, provides small grants and loans, technical advice and support to it's members - town & parish councils, sports clubs and other community organisations. The Association's aims are to help protect, improve and promote active use of parks, playgrounds and playing fields across the counties of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

The village hall serves all members of the community in and around the village of Cliffords Mesne. Activities include: Dinners and social gatherings, entertainments (visiting theatre groups etc.), village markets, Monday morning book club, meetings etc. All money raised is used for the upkeep of the hall.

Organise events and fundraising activities for the children of Parton Manor School, including Christmas and Summer Fairs, Discos and Craft events

Youth Club providing recreation, learning and social activities for children between the ages of 5 and 18 in the local area

The Friends raises for the school to be spent in ways which enhance the education and experience of the children, such as providing sports equipment, assisting with school trips, or refurbishing the school grounds. We run events just for the children and other events which can also involve the local community. We are keen to ensure our events are fun as well as raising money for the school!

Grant making trust to assist charities and distressed persons within the preferred area of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and its environs, international charities, Rotary international charities and Rotary Foundation.

Regular social events are held throughout the year - these include monthly coffee mornings and social evenings and also a Christmas and Summer Party. The Village Hall is therefore used and enjoyed by many residents of Laverton.

The conservation and enhancement of the public areas of Imperial Square Cheltenham (including Imperial Gardens), including the installation of copies of some of the original features for the benefit and enjoyment of all members of the public.

The school parents association runs fundraising events and activities to provide great experiences for the children of Eastington School

The entertainment of the public through organised choral concert performances focussing on widening the appreciation of choral music and on fund raising for other charities and good causes. Operates primarily, but not exclusively, in Somerset, North Somerset and the adjacent counties including South Wales.

To relieve retired Evangelical Ministers and Missionaries and their families who are in necessitous circumstances in particular by the provision of living acomodation.

Provision of Scouting for boys and girls in Amberley; comprising Beavers, Cubs and Scouts

Teaching disabled riders

The choir rehearses weekly, and performs on average 2 concerts locally between September and the following May. It provides voice workshops to benefit its members, and, ultimately, its performances. It is a member of the South Cotswold Choral Group, and takes part in combined performances.

Parents Teachers Association of Stow-on-the-Wold Primary School. We carry out fund raising activities to enable us to enhance the facilities provided to the children by the school

We raise money to be used by the school for "something extra" for the children
