The Charity provides a Village Hall facility for the Sheepscombe community. It sustains the good housekeeping and the sound financial controls to make the hall a centrepiece to the social and school life of this rural community. Further, it continues to develop the grounds and building amenities for its users.

We raise money to be used by the school for "something extra" for the children

The Trust has firm Christian foundations and seeks to share that Faith practically by helping people discover more about Christianity through bible study, prayer & building relationships, encouraging new initiatives by providing seed funds (e.g. for a local youth worker) and giving care and support for children, families & the elderly, especially those who are vulnerable or living on the margins.

Eastern Uganda: Fundraising for a Health Centre in Busamaga was completed in 2014/15. Construction commenced in Sept 2015. Building work was completed in Nov 2015 and the health centre was formally opened in December 2015. Financial support with staff salary costs, running costs and drugs/equipment has continued since the opening and is ongoing in 2021/22.

GCCC provides a safe and neutral place where children can have contact with adults from whom they are separated

The provision and maintenance of premises that may be used by community groups based in Tetbury for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation which may be accommodated having due consideration to the age and characteristics of the building.

PTA for local comprehensive school, raising funds for extra curricular activities, special projects and equipment for the benefit of the children.

The object of the Charity has been modified over the centuries but were affirmed by the Commissioners in their Inquiry of 1825 to be:To pay the Schoolmaster, the Clerk and repairs to the church, or to be applied to any other godly use, as the Feoffees may think proper.

To support the game of cricket for all.To help provide expertise, guidance and financial assistance for young people to achieve their full potential in cricket.To promote community participation in healthy recreation through cricket related physical or recreational activity in particular for those with ill health, disability or financial difficulties.

To help and assist poor and distressed members of Vassar-Smith Lodge, or their family, widows and children, and to similarly assist other like charities/institutions as the Executive Committee for Gloucestershire shall from time to time direct.
