Providing educational and cultural activities for the elderly ( over the age of 55) who are no longer in full time employment. The activities consist of lectures, seminars, classes and visits to the theatre, museums and other similar culture attractions.

TO RAISE FUNDS TO MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP THE FABRIC OF ST BARTHOLOMEW'S CHURCH, COALEY, AND THE CHURCHYARD, FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS AND AS A TRIBUTE TO OUR PREDECESSORS.

Our PTFA supports our local primary school by funding resources, equipment, and experiences which are used to support and enrich the children's learning journey throughout their time at St. Mary's School. Our committee and network of parent and staff volunteers organise several events throughout the year to raise these funds for the school, including fayres, discos, trails and community appeals.

"To provide or assist in the provision for the inhabitants of Kingswood, Gloucestershire, facilites for leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants" - from our constitution, item '3' - "objects".

The purpose of King's Stanley PTFA is to raise money for the benefit of the children of King Stanley school. Various fund rasiing activities have been undertaken including but not restricted to: Summer Fayre, Chirstmas Fayre, Quiz Nights, School discos, Pampering evening, Scarecrow trail, Ice Cream Sales...Donations are given to the school normally for an agreed purpose.

Provide space & facilities for village & private social & entertainment & fundraising events. Also organise annual show for produce & crafts. Five trustees are elected for a four-year term and the management committee is also made up of user representatives and co-opted members with specialist knowledge.

Maintain & improve the existing HQ for Guiding activities to continue, support & fundraise with and for the local guiding units.

To disburse funds at the discretion of the trustees primarily benefiting charitable organisations in the Bristol, Gloucestershire and Somerset area in accordance with the Constitution.

The Scout Group runs a program of activities, both outdoor and indoor, through which young people are encouraged to develop their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The conservation and enhancement of the public areas of Imperial Square Cheltenham (including Imperial Gardens), including the installation of copies of some of the original features for the benefit and enjoyment of all members of the public.

Village Hall providing venue for village activities, fund-raising events for church, village hall, badminton, pilates, meetings, exhibitions, art classes etc.

Supporting local Charities

Raise funds for Upton St Leonards C of E School to assist with areas of pupils interest where funding is not available through LEA funding.

Running of the Church Piece alloment gardens and distribution of surplus revenue to needy people in the parish of Mickleton as appropriate

The Charity provides sponsorship funds to a Maasai community in southern Kenya, primarily to enable high school age children to attend school and subsequently college or university. Funds are also provided for the maintenance of a borehole and drainage for a vegetable garden as well as support for a community centre to enable education and the continuance of Maasai culture.

The entertainment of the public through organised choral concert performances focussing on widening the appreciation of choral music and on fund raising for other charities and good causes. Operates primarily, but not exclusively, in Somerset, North Somerset and the adjacent counties including South Wales.

Services are held on Sundays at 11am and 6:00pm BST; 4pm GMT. Once a month there is a lunch and discussion session held on Thursdays from 12:30 - 2:15pm. Other special services and committee meetings are held throughout the year

Recreation and learning activities for children between the ages of 6 - 15

Community Hall which is used for Village Meetings and can be hired out.

Core fund raising has mainly been based on social activities - discos, treasure hunt and a quiz night . These have been coupled with Christmas and Easter raffles and the end of year balloon race, together with nearly new uniform sales and selling of the school book bags.

Fundraising activities in order to make donations to the school towards purchases of equipment or support for activities to enhance the pupils education.
