Momentum is a charity that provides and facilitates accessible fitness sessions for local people across Hampshire.We aim to break down and overcome the barriers which prevent some individuals and groups in our community from being physically active. Our work supports everyone to experience the wide range of benefits from participating in exercise.

We raise money to put on events and provide support for Stamshaw Infant and Stamshaw Junior schools. We hold our events across both the schools and provide financial support towards school trip, vital equipment, fun activites and events, extra curricular learning opportunities and much more.

Maintain/manage a community centre so that facilities are provided in the interests of social welfare, recreation and leisure-time occupation and educational improvement which improve the conditions of life for the local residents.

To relieve persons suffering from mental or physical disabilities and those accompanying them, by the provision of facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupation and in particular, by the provision of pleasure boat trips for such persons

We are a local scout troop based in Cove who run a Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts group. Our hall is owned by the scout association and we are responsible for looking after the hall, its upkeep and making any lettings. The committee sort out maintenance of the hall and any hirers of the premises as well as supporting the sections in the activities that they undertake.

THE HALL IS AVAILABLE TO HIRE FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS AS WELL AS ALL LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENTS. THE LARGE RECREATION FIELD IS OPEN ACCESS AND SUPPORTS ONE SENIOR FOOTBALL TEAM. A FENCED CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA IS AVAILBLE FOR THE YOUNGER AGES RANGE.

We run a coffee shop that is a focal point for this rural community. For some Elderly people it is a second home, but all ages make use of our facilities. We have toys available for the very young. Village clubs and organisations use our facilites to advertise what they do. The shop is also used as a collection point for our charitable giving.

History and Archaeology

The charity aims to educate the public in the arts and science of music by performing choral concerts of high standard with soloists of national standing. It is a mixed choir of about 144 voices and performs major works from the choral scene, from traditional classical to modern. Most of its concerts are in Salisbury Cathedral but occasionally it combines with other choirs and performs abroad

Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Arranges annual festivals of English Cathedral Music with four to five days of services and concerts based around the daily liturgy, based alternately in Chichester, Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals.

To advance the education of the public in the arts, particularly music, speech, drama and dance. A festival of music speech and dance is held in Feb/March each year in Godalming.

The advancement of education and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the provision of financial assistance to school and other educators for the enrichment of educational provision through various forms of activities and resources.

Community living by Buddhists encouraged and subsidised.
