Mind in Haringey provides information, advice and support to people affected by mental health problems, primarily in Haringey. We work to prevent mental health problems, promote mental well being and ensure those with mental health problems are respected and included in our local community.

The charity is constituted as a company limited by guarantee, and is therefore governed by a memorandum and articles of association. The objects of the charity are;1. ISLAMIC SHAKHSIYAH FOUNDATION RUNS TWO INDEPENDENT PRIMARY SCHOOLS AND TWO ATTACHED NURSERIES. THE SCHOOLS RUN ON AN ALTERNATIVE ETHOS AS DETAILED ON OUR WEBSITE. WE PROVIDE OTHER SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING VARIOUS CLASSES AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. THE FOUNDATION IS INVOLVED IN THE PROPAGATION OF ISLAM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOUR SUNNI SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT.

To alleviate persons suffering from cancer, and their families, within the Jewish community. To support their emotional, practical & medical needs by the provision of treatment, necessities and facilities, enabling access to resources through referrals, and practical guidance. To prevent sickness by raising health awareness across the community.

To enable and support members to work wherever we love, serving the poor, marginalised and disempowered in our society. We do this by promoting the gospel values of love, justice, peace & liberty. Wherever possible we work collaboratively in established projects. We help to train others to continue ministries begun by us enabling us to be free to respond to other needs as they arise.
