The Scout Association promotes the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities. This is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme progressive training, based on the Scout Promise & Law and guided by adult leadership.

We provide Christian worship and teaching, providing spiritual and emotional direction and support. Living On supports children and young people and their families in Orpington, Kent when someone they love has died. We run grief groups throughout the year that aim to bring families and children together in order that they feel they are not alone. We also have a Buddy service which is when a family has just lost a loved one, we connect with the family and provide support.

Painters Forstal Community Association (PFCA) aims: to set up, provide and operate a community/village hall in the village of Painters Forstal in the parish of Ospringe, Kent; and, to organise and run events, activities or facilities of an educational, recreational, leisure-related, socially-enhancing, health-enhancing or similar nature.

To care for and re-home unwanted, abandoned or homeless cats and kittens in the Kent area, including the provision of sanctuary pens, boarding facilities, fostering, veterinary treatment and help with veterinary costs for cat owners and adopters on low income. To promote and improve the welfare of cats and kittens, including the running of a shop selling donated goods to support the cattery.

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of tennis.

Provision of leisure & opportunities for children & young people with disabilities

Our charity provides educational and recreational opportunities for our children and young people with special needs and disabilities, over and above that which is statutorily provided. We raise money for specific projects that enhance our provision for our students and offer them the best opportunities.

To procure, maintain and let 12 Almshouses in Deal to aged and infirm Deal boatmen and subject thereto poor, aged and infirm persons who are inhabitants of the former Borough of Deal as constituted on 31 March 1974.To apply the income of the Charity for the benefit of the occupants or any of them in such manner as the Trustees think fit from time to time.
