Based in Clayton West, West Yorkshire we provide facilities for sports and recreation for the wellbeing of our community and surrounding areas

Our main aim is to provide and support adventurous activities locally, notably but not exclusively the Duke of Edinburgh's Award through voluntary effort, grant provision and fundraising. We believe that financial constraints and additional needs should not be a barrier to participation in these activities, which help to develop the confidence, motivation and skills needed in everyday life.

The relief of sickness and the protection of good health by the provision of emergency pre-hospital health care to sick and injured people and by the promotion of pre-hospital care in the community of West Yorkshire and its surrounding areas. The advancement of education in pre-hospital care of doctors and other clinical staff by the provision of ongoing training for the benefit of the public.

Library service and related activities

Loving Hands Outreach Team aims to prevent or relieve poverty, through the provision of essential foods and household goods to:*individuals/households in need*and/or other organisations working to relieve poverty.This will be carried out for individuals/households of any age, size, religion, ethnic or gender group, living within the local government Metropolitan area of Kirklees.

We aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation. We provide support for people affected by dementia, other memory problems, and social isolation. We run fortnightly pop-up cafes in Sowerby Bridge and in Halifax at which we offer a varied programme of games, crafts, information, support, cakes and conversation. Our volunteer team run craft sessions, play games, serve refreshments and chat.

Mindful Movers are a peer led group, supporting with mental health and wellbeing. We have a Basecamp with Thornes Park nursery, Thornes Park, Wakefield. We offer a range of activities including walk & talk sessions, open volunteering days, creative health sessions, TRIBE personal development programmes and accredited qualification courses. Gardening and nature based activities at the Basecamp site

Providing housing and open space to beneficiaries who are older, less well off members of the local community

Promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Huddersfield to advance education. To provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of the life for the inhabitants.

To advance, promote and encourage generally and by means of The Mrs Sunderland Music Festival in particular, the education of the public in the arts of music, dance, speach, litrature and drama in all their branches and to stimulate public interest in these arts.

Promotes the education, including social and physical training, of persons between the ages of 7 and 25 years who are resident in the area of the former county Borough of Dewsbury.

For the rescue & placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned ferrets, providing temporary sanctuary for ferrets suitable for adoption and a permanent home for ferrets which cannot be adopted due to health, age or temperament. Provides information & support to ensure successful adoptions.Works with the RSPCA & other animal welfare groups in order to best further the aims of the Charity.

We are a 100% volunteer run Charity based in Halifax. We distribute equipment and other essential items to vulnerable and disadvantaged families throughout Calderdale and surrounding areas. The majority of our items are donated by the general public. Our service is free to use and accessed through a third party referral system.

Slaithwaite Community Association has the aim of encouraging and promoting community life in Slaithwaite. We achieve this by means of events that bring together many interest groups in the village as well of people of all ages who do not belong to any organised group. We are particularly proud that we are able to support many groups connected with children and young people.

TEACHING OF MUSIC, MARCHING, DANCE, COORDINATION AND OTHER RELEVANT ARTS

The Association (HCA) maintains, improves, uses and runs Hepworth Village Hall, a former day-school owned by the Anglican church. HCA lets space, at low rates, to local groups (sports, craft, playgroup, charities, drama etc) and to individuals for social events and parties. HCA runs regular community events, eg Film Night, Folk Night, food-evenings, concerts, plays, quiz-nights etc.

Providing essential equipment and improving services for children's and neonatal wards that cannot be funded from any other source.

Umbrella organisation for volunteer groups in Kirklees promoting conservation and biodiversity. Providing free insurance and tool share for groups working on Kirklees Green spaces..

Activities involve organising fundraising activities with the proceeds going to the benefit the children at Fairfield School.

Four 19th Century weavers' cottages forming a 'living history' museum providing education for children and the wider public of life in the domestic wool textile industry in the valleys of West Yorkshire. Live demonstrations and events; a changing programme of exhibitions on site; school visits; active outreach programme through covering West Yorkshire.

The Community seeks to relieve poverty by providing practical help to the poor and destitute in the form of food, clothing emergency financial assistance for utilities as well as providing support through home and nursing home visits.The Community serve the poor and wider public through prayer and spiritual instruction and encouragement, including monthly prayer groups and retreats.

The object of the charity is to apply the clear income in relieving the need among clergy, deaconesses and licensed lay workers who are resident in or have served in the Diocese of Leeds and among persons who are dependent relatives of any members of the clergy by making grants of money.
