Eccleston Over 60s Club provides activities for Over 60s at Bateman Hall, Eccleston.The Club meets on Tuesdays and members play dominoes and bingo. The Club also holds domino and bingo evenings Fridays. Bateman Hall is hired out to other local organisations eg. Weight Watchers, Pilates, Belly Dance. Ladies keep Fit. We also hold fund raising events, such as coffee mornings.

We are Self-Help Support Group for Chronic Pain Sufferers and work closely with the Pain Management Clinic at Royal Preston Hospital (RPH). SMILE stands for Self-Motivation in Lasting Endorphins and we ensure that Self Motivation is given a helping hand by having a weekly physiotherapy approved gentle exercise session followed by relaxation both proven methods for helping chronic pain sufferers.

To hold an annual show, if possible, with classes for a wide variety of animals both farm and domestic, to encourage country crafts and skills.To award educational grants to young people to further their studies in connection with agriculture and related subjects, provided that they live in Todmorden or otherwise have a connection with the show.

Advance the public education and appreciation of classical music by promoting a concert series open to the public.

PROVISION OF BUILDING, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT( INC IT SUITE) FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS ACTIVITIES ESPECIALLY YOUNG PEOPLES GROUP.Building is also available for hire for private use parties/ events for educational purposes etc and for public meetings.Is also listed as a county level 1 emergency rest centre.

The objects are for any charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ulnes Walton for which provision is not made out of rates, taxes or other public funds.The charity administers the Old School in Ulnes Walton as a village hall.

A road safety promotion organisation by delivering Advanced Riding Advice as part of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. A team of volunteer Observers offer one-to-one riding skills advice to prepare candidates for their IAM test.

Tandem cycling for visually impaired people

To promote and educate the local sikh community in their faith, to provide a place of worship, and to give them an understanding of the workings of other such faiths in the local community.

Memory cafes, also known as dementia cafes, provide safe spaces where people can go for a cup of tea and chat with experienced professionals or others affected by dementia. There are also games, quizzes and craft sessions which those attending can take part in along with outside speakers who invited to give talks.
