We believe that a person has the right to choose where they die - in hospital, hospice or at home. We look at the whole person and take into account their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

The provision of housing for those in need

TO INCREASE THAT SAFETY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF, ONE FRONT DOOR HELPLINE, COMMUNITY SERVICES AND EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION, CHALLENGING PERPETRATORS, SUPPORT WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP, INFLUENCING POLICY AND CAMPAIGNING FOR CHANGE.

The principal activity is that of a holding company providing and equipping a training centre for use by the subsidiary trading company and to co-operate with the subsidiary company in the provision of industrial and commercial training and education.

To advance the education of the public in all aspects of dramatic art including , drama,opera,dance, music and film.The development of public appreciation of such art by the provision of a theatre and the presentation of public performancesTo further the social and cultural welfare of the community of scarborough , its neighbourhood and visitors.

Provision of the accommodation, care and support needs of older people

TUSU offers student social and study spaces, SU Student Support (academic, reps, jobs), SU Activities, The Terrace venue and catering, The Hub venue, and SU Shop. Student Officers and Representatives sit on University bodies and meet with the local Council and other organisations. It has student opportunities for over 3,000 students in societies, activities and academic roles in the University.

Working with primary schools in the area to help them understand food production and increase consumption of fruit and vegetables. Holding free open days for the public to reconnect them with farming and countryside. Hosting visits from HE and FE colleges and holding technology transfer events for farmers and growers. Working with public sector organisations on health projects.

WE PROVIDE LIFELONG LEARNING AND SUPPORT FOR MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES, AUTISM, PHYSICAL DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES.IN OUR SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE WE PROVIDE ACCREDITED LEARNING AND INFORMAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES DAY CARE SUPPORT. IN OUR RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES, BRACKENLEY AND BRIARDENE, WE SUPPORT 26 PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES.

We support the well-being of the Dales. Activities range from conserving the environmental and heritage features making up the landscape to issues as diverse as countryside apprenticeships, supporting local communities, and encouraging sustainable development. Social exclusion, education, and engaging communities in nearby conurbations with the Dales have become a real focus.

The Charity's aim is to provide Day opportunities and supported living for people who have a learning disabilities and other complex health needs in the North Yorkshire area

community participation by providing facilities for the playing of football and other sports;the provision of facilities for sport, recreation of such persons who have need for such facilities in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life; and advancement of the education of children and young people

OPERATION OF HELMSLEY ARTS CENTRE. PROVISION OF ARTS EVENTS AND FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

The Trust is concerned with Heritage Building Preservation which is achieved by finding new uses for redundant buildings. Our area of operation is in the Richmondshire District of North Yorkshire. The provision of professional, confidential and impartial interpretation and translation and advocacy service to the North East region, serving community groups, individuals and service providers.Encouraging local community groups to formalise their language skills to become professional translators thus enhancing their employment opportunities.
