The charity provides advice, support and activities for babies, children and young people in Shilbottle and the surrounding areas. This is achieved through a toddlers session and youth sessions based at the community hall and in the community. We look to provide trips out and other activities for young people.

The Charity provides funds generated from its investment trust for the benefit of local charities grants to organisations

The object of the Trust is the payment of the income from the Trust Fund arising each year to such local charities (by which is meant charities operating within Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Co Durham) as the Trustees in their absolute discretion from time to time think fit.

Provision and upkeep of Whalton Village Hall to maintain it as the centre of the village community with access for all types of use and events and by all local groups.

We give grants to adults taking part-time education courses in the arts and humanities in the North-East of England. Grants can be for fees, transport, books and materials, or other expenses such as child care.

Meeting Rooms, Training Suite. Computer Suite to provide course from introduction to computing to courses to ECDL & Desktop Publishing to Digital Photography, etc.Function Room for the special events in the Community, weddings. Christenings, Anniversay's, Funerals, Sequence Dance Groups, Linedance Groups Adult & Junior, Keep Fit, Tai Chi, Carpet Bowls, Tai Chi,Public meetings,promotional events.

Amble Food Bank helps members of its surrounding local communities who are struggling financially and need support via the provision of a food parcel that they receive fortnightly. All clients get referred to us through an official agency which assesses whether they are eligible for a food parcel. We also signpost clients to other agencies if they are in need of additional support.

For the public benefit within the area of Belford and Middleton and surrounding areas with the following objectives:-provision of recreational facilities for the public at large, the relief of financial hardship by recycling, advance public education in local heritage and culture, raise public appreciation of arts and crafts, protect the environment and to further other charitable purposes.

The Charity supplies Teddy Bears to Hospitals, A & E Clinics and associated similar Services across Northumberland and North Tyneside to relieve distress and sufferings of Patients, particularly Children

To receive bequests and donations from Mark Lodges, Royal Ark Mariner Lodges and Brethren of the Province of Northumberland and from other Masonic organisations. To make grants to Mark Brethren, widows and children in need and donations to the Fund of Benevolence of Grand Mark Lodge & other Masonic and non Masonic charities.

We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats/kittens in the Newcastle and Northumberland area.Cats predominantly come to us through public no longer able to provide for their cats (surrenders), strays handed in to veterinary practices and strays found by the public.We also actively take part in the trap, neuter and release scheme to help manage the feral population in local areas.

The Charity operates the Berwick Visitor Centre in Walkergate Berwick-upon-Tweed for the benefit of locals and visitors alike. The Visitor Centre, through its audio visual presentations and permanent and temporary exhibits, educates and informs locals, visitors and school pupils of the history of Berwick and its current facilities.

Tynedale Lions act to support the local community both by the provision of grants to community organisations and charities active within its area and directly assisting them in their activities. A "Men's Shed", targeted at relieving isolation of men within the area, opened in March 2019. Support also offered to Lions Club International Foundation humane initiatives in disaster areas.

Our Mission is to enable people with disabilities to enjoy cycling and to give them opportunities for personal development by providing suitable cycles, equipment and support.

We're about seeing young people's lives changed by Jesus, by showing Jesus in a way that is relevant to every young person in the North East. We demonstrate the love of God, declare who Jesus is, encourage a decision to follow Him and disciple young people to live their lives to the full.

We support vulnerable people by offering a place of care and refuge, a listening ear, companionship and direct practical help. We provide alcohol, drug and relationship counselling and supply furniture, clothing and food parcels to those in need. We plan to implement a youth programme and a range of directed programmes around independent life skills, employability, sport and positive self-esteem.

To encourage the preservation and display public transport vehicles from the North East of England.

Cresswell Pele Tower was built by the Cresswell family in the 14th century. It is a Grade 11* Listed Building and Scheduled Monument. The Cresswell Pele Tower Project has set up a community and education focused project to investigate the Pele Tower and its environs and then conserve the tower and adjacent 18th century walled garden as a community resource for future generations.
