The Trust has been and is active in expressing this in the care of people with special needs, education and work on the land. Alder Bridge Steiner-Waldorf School rents the school building. The Trust acquired a property and makes this building available as a Steiner-Waldorf early years centre.

The London School of Samba aims to advance education through the promotion of the arts with particular reference to samba music and dance and the culture and tradition of Afro-Brazilian Carnival.The main activities include: open access workshops to teach Brazilian dance and drumming, public performances, participation at major events, outreach work, costume design and float building.

Arts and Culture

To educate and entertain members of the general public in the Reading and surrounding area through the rehearsal and presentation of two musical productions a year (spring and autumn) at theatres in or near Reading.Each production usually runs for five performances with a total potential audience of just over 2000 for the week.

To build a boat for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults to operate between Windsor and Oxford along the River Thames. The boat is primarily based at Henley on Thames and operates from the River & Rowing Museum.

BACC provides sanctuary for animals that cannot live in traditional domesticity due to behavioural or medical problems and animals that have been abandoned or mistreated. BACC focusses on educating the public on the management, behaviour and training of animals as well as managing their physical and mental wellbeing. BACC provides a safe space for people to connect with animals.

TO HOLD ALL MONIES WHICH MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE RECEIVED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF READING AND TO APPLY THESE FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY LIVING IN THE TERRITORIAL AREA OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF READING OR TO SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.

The Charity, under the working name of REinspired, acts to advance religion, in particular the Christian religion, through education by enabling local churches to support local school communities in the religious education and spiritual development of their pupils. The organisation is based in the areas of Earley and East Reading, but also supports other REinspired hubs in the United Kingdom.

Religious and social services

Providing music therapy and expression through music, art and play for sick or disabled children and teenagers in hospital, school or wherever needed. To support sick or disabled children, young people and their families providing special requirements as necessary to alleviate the trauma, stress and suffering of the whole family unit.

We organise a series of cultural, art and heritage related programmes that are usually delivered free of charge, on a charitable basis, to all participants and the audience.

To relieve children and adults with dyslexia and related conditions by providing treatment at our research clinics focusing on dyslexia and related conditions. To advance the education of the public by undertaking research into causes and treatments of dyslexia and related conditions, training personnel, and publishing the useful results of such research

The net yearly income is applied in relieving persons resident in the area of the Ancient Parish of St. Laurence, Reading, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. If the said yearly income is not required for application as above the Trustees may apply the same in like manner in relieving persons resident in the County Borough of Reading, who are in the same circumstances.

We provide a Holiday Club environment during Easter and Summer school holidays for children with additional needs and disabilities between the ages of 3 and 19.We also provide an After School Club at Addington School, Woodley, Monday through Friday during Term Time.

The Greenhouse Church hosts weekly services open to the public, including worship and Bible study.

The main purpose of the charity is the maintenance of the fabric of St Giles Church in Reading, and also the maintenance of certain other buildings in the vicinity.

We operate in the North Reading Youth and Community centre building adjacent to Emmer Green Primary School and provide after-school care for children of all ages attending the school.

Provides confidential emotional support, by telephone, text message, email or face to face, to those in distress or at risk of suicide.

Carry out the ministry of an independent Anglican Church including the employment and accommodation of the Minister.

The provision of gymnastics coaching and facilities to young people in the Thames Valley/South Oxfordshire area.

The advancement of the knowledge of the Gospel, particularly within the Tilehurst community. Key activities to accomplish this include Sunday services, meeting in homes, ad hoc events and informal support from membership.
