The Amy Leigh Barnes Charitable Foundation provides grants to fund projects that address issues of Domestic Abuse (physical, sexual, emotional and/or mental abuse), and projects that offer provision to children and young people including educating through creative activities.

To relieve persons resident in the Ancient Parish of Rochdale, the Ancient Township of Castleton, or Whitworth, Lancashire, or Todmorden or Saddleworth, West Yorkshire, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. Income generated is applied for these purposes by making grants of money or providing or paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce need, hardship or distress.

The Charity deals with general charitable purposes. In particular we promote education/training, relief of poverty, overseas aid and famine relief, religious activities. We help children/young people, elderly/old people, people of a particular ethnic or racial origin, other charities/voluntary bodies. In general we carry out the above by making grants available to individuals and organisations.

We help collect and send humanitarian aid from Manchester to people affected by the war in Ukraine. We also run a community hub in Prestwich, Manchester, where we support Ukrainians living in Greater Manchester. Our charity helps people learn more about Ukraine, its language, culture and heritage.

1. Lord Mayor of Manchester can nominate up to 10 Non-Jewish Charitable institutions in Manchester. 2. President of council of Manchester and Salford Jews can nominate up to 10 Jewish Charitable Institutions Request -ú20 used to cover cost of prayers for Mr & Mrs Levy on anniversaries of their deaths.3. Mayor of Tel-Aviv can nominate such Jewish Charitable Institutions at his discretion.

THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SICKLE CELL DISEASE AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION, AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY FOR SUCH PERSONS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS HAVING NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES DUE TO THE EFFECT/IMPACT OF SICKLE CELL.

Carry out fundraising activities such as Spring and Christmas Fairs, Quiz Nights and Book Sales to support special purchases and projects for the Museum.Provide volunteer support for the Museums events.

To provide grants to organisations, charities and projects which improve the lives of young people.

The society promotes six concerts a year with established and emerging artists, performing at venues in the Rochdale area. Educational events also take place. Our artistic objective is to promote a variety of musical styles, but mainly chamber music, aiming to stimulate interest within all age groups.

Provides assistance to relieve poverty.

Singing training to male members, giving concerts to support other charitable and community based organisations.

Bamford Community Centre is currently used by a Pre-School Playgroup, and the local ladies group.It is also available for casual letting for parties, dance classes, local meetings and other functions as and when required.

The terms of the Will are that the Trust Fund should be applied by Rochdale BC in or towards the acquisition and/or laying out of playing fileds or a public park within the former Milnrow Urban District Council and the upkeep thereof, or in or towards the endowment of a Nursing Association within the said District as the Council in its absolute and uncontrolled discretion may determine

Heritage Tramcar restoration and running of restored vehicles within Heaton Park in Manchester, run solely by volunteers. Maintaining heritage tramway infrastructure and undertaking restoration works on tramcars originally built from 1880 onwards.

Providing / paying for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress 3. Donations / subscriptions to institutions or organisations which provide services or facilities for such persons.

We aim to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines.
