Vivacity Choir is a fun and friendly community choir based in Sheffield, UK. We are open to all, especially those new to singing. We started in 2008, practice weekly in Hillsborough and present concerts at least twice a year.We welcome anyone regardless of experience. We aim to sing a variety of music styles including classical, contemporary and gospel music.

The Sheffield Recreation band was formed in 1900 and has a long history and heritage with the city centre of Sheffield and also the steel industry within the wider areas of the city, of which the band are very proud. In May 2025 the band will celebrate its 125th year. We have worked very hard to attract a wide age range within our band 13 years to over 70 years.

The Gatty Hall functions as the centre of village life for the community of Ecclesfield and the surrounding area. Walkley Carnegie Library (WCL) provides a free library service for the benefit of people livingin Walkley and the surrounding areas, within Sheffield. WCL also run a selection of community activities and events within the library.

To relieve the suffering of feral and or abandoned cats, particularly through the sterilisation of such animals. To ensure for these cats the population is controlled humanely and to educate and work with local groups and authorities.

We run a Toddler Group, Girls Brigade, Kids Club every week and take school assemblies. For Adults we have a fellowship group/bible study every week.We hold two worship services on a Sunday.

Raising funds to help the school provide extra resources for the pupils. Running social events for parents/carers and children; providing an opportunity for people to meet and get to know each other and have fun.Providing support for school trips and outings and other special events.

Baslow Choir is a mixed choir having in excess of 50 members. They perform a minimum of four concerts per year and actively encourage young and upcoming musicians to perform with them as guest artists.

Joy Assembly runs regular church services every week on Sundays, Wednesdays and for our roma-Gypsy members we run a bible study evening on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Glen Howe is a valuable local community park which is used for informal and leisure activities. The mature heritage woodland is part of a management project with Sheffield City Council and Stocksbridge Steel Valley Project.

We provide community space for all local community activities.

We organise fundraising activities in order to benefit the learning opportunities of the pupils of Mosborough Primary School. This year we have funded the purchase of a new new playground equipment, books for foundation new starters, equipment for the Science Curriculum and subsidised a number of educational visits for different year groups.

Provision of learning materials for general use by individuals, organisations and learning institutions to share information, inform knowledge, and raise awareness. Making ad hoc grants and awards to eligible students in full-time post-graduate education. Supporting organisations to fund, promote, organise and/or host African heritage / Black British history themed events.
