Our aim is to enable people with learning disabilites and autism to take part in the arts and to produce theatre and film that helps them to explore the issues that are most important to them, increase their skills and independence, improve their helath and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and and become more visible and active in their communities.

The Charity, with the help of invaluable contributions from supporters of our hospitalsand community services, provides an opportunity to undertake activities and enhance patient care that might otherwise not be possible. This includes the purchase of medical equipment, improvements to patient amenities and patient and staff education, above and beyond what is normally provided by the NHS.

MS Research and Relief Fund supports MS groups in Morpeth, Jarrow, Durham, Berwick and Newcastle. We provide complementary therapies which are free of charge to people with MS and their primary carers, in addition we have accessible exercise classes, Tai Chi and a "fitness lounge" where people can use toning tables, MotoMed exercise machines and a vibrogym.

The Cultural Spring provides cultural, community based activities throughout the city of Sunderland and South Tyneside.

We are the only specialist eating distress charity in the North East and aim to be a centre of excellence for eating distress support. We offer counselling, support, information, help and hope to anyone in the North East affected by eating distress, with or without a medical diagnosis.We work to raise awareness, increase understanding and influence early identification and treatment.

The trust is a grant making trust. Grants are commonly in response to appeals in support of welfare for those who are disadvantaged, young, elderly, disabled, as well as maritime and Service causes, education, training and employment opportunities, community benefit, historic buildings, the environment, music and the arts. Grants are made out of income and not normally out of capital.

Washington A.F.C is a community club striving to provide access to football for all. Based from our North East sports facility in Washington we encourage children from age 4 to learn and develop their skills, we provide training for age groups from under 7s to under 18s and aim to have at least one team in every age division up to Under 18s.

The church operates from premises at Hetton Road, Houghton Le Spring, Tyne & Wear. Church membership is voluntary and free. Choysez works on a part time basis with young people throughout Northumberland aged 9 - 16 years. We support and empower them to take advantage of life's opportunities. Young people at Choysez have individually designed programmes to help gain nationally recognised qualifications and to boost their self esteem. Choysez delivers these programmes through a range of indoor and outdoor activities.

Love, Amelia provides essential and practical support to babies, children and those who look after them within Tyne and Wear and County Durham. We provide new and excellent quality pre-loved items, equipment and support to partner organisations and families experiencing poverty and hardship.

Anxious Minds is a charity dedicated to providing comprehensive support for individuals in the North East. Our mission focuses on early intervention and long-term assistance for children,adults and the veteran community facing mental health challenges, addiction, and the aftermath of abuse. By serving the public, we aim to enhance the well-being of our community.

We work to create equality of opportunity in arts and culture for disabled people in the North East of England. We do this by supporting and promoting the work of disabled artists, by enabling and facilitating disabled people to access all aspects of the arts, by assisting cultural venues to become inclusive and by presenting a programme of arts and cultural activity.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation, in particular by the provision of facilities for exercise, competition and recreation on the water and on land, safely, and by the provision of encouragement and instruction in the sport of rowing, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas.

Triangular was initially set up in 2014 as a community group. As the number of beneficiaries grew and the work expanded, the trustees decided to incorporate the organisation in 2018 for more accountability and transparency. The object of the CIO is to advance the education and training of those granted refugee status, seeking asylum, recent migrants and their dependents.

We provide facilities and services for the recreation or other leisure-time occupation of the general public,in particular, but not exclusively, for people who are refugees and seeking asylum, in the north of England, with the object of improving their conditions of life and general well-being, primarily through the provision of horticultural and nature based activities.

To provide adequate recreational facilities including dancing, gymnastics, playing fields, skate park, and community activities for the benefit of the residents of South Tyneside, in the interests of social welfare and the object of advancing education, furthering health and wellbeing, relieving poverty and distress. We also offer a wide range of room and facilities for community hire and use.

Maintenance of arms houses relief in need, hardship and distress in Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside and South Tyneside and all places within 5 miles of the River Tyne.

We work with migrant people in the North East of England, especially Sunderland. We focus on those with limited access to information and support network, including migrants and refugee and the Eastern European community. We came to being in 2009 and have now converted to a CIO. Arts 4 Wellbeing is a day opportunity service in South Tyneside for people with learning disabilities, mild to moderate mental health. We provide a warm relaxed and safe environment for our users, it enables members to participate in creative activities, to promote personal growth reduce social exclusion and provide them with effective therapeutic services whilst working towards increased recovery
