Friends of Hinguar are the PTA at Hinguar primary school. We arrange events for the school and our local community.

For the public benefit in the South East of England, to promote humane behaviour towards cats and kittens and to relieve the suffering and distress of cats and kittens who are in need of care and protection due to sickness, neglect or maltreatment by the provision of a rescue and rehoming service.

REPLICATION OF GIRL CHILD EMPOWERMENT MODEL IN FIVE AFRICAN COUNTRIES WITH RWANDA RECENTLY SUPPORTED TO SET UP AND ENSURE GIRLS ARE EMPOWERED AND EDUCATED TO REACH THEIR POTENTIAL. GIRLS EMPOWERMENT AND EDUCATION FUND IS SET UP FOR GIRLS IN AFRICA TO ACCESS IN CASES OF EMERGENCIES WHERE THEIR LIVES ARE THREATENED BY POVERTY ,MAN MADE AND NATURAL DISASTERS.WE ADVOCATE FOR POLICY CHANGE FOR GIRLS

We do the promotion of social inclusion, we relieve poverty and distress, we preserve and protect good health, we provide advice to couples and families in UK and overseas,particularly but not exclusively in Essex, by the provision of advice,information and assistance in such matters as health,education , sport,music,drama,training for employment,translation services,housing and welfare rights.

Boxing, football, table tennis, outdoor activities

The band is open to anyone. There is no audition requirement. We aim to develop its members musical abilities, we encourage members to experiment with playing other instruments. A Tuba, Alto and Eb clarinets have been loaned to members to increase their expertise.We work with local charitable organisations to play at their fund raising concerts. We hold annual rehearsal days.

To help with the education of young children and young people

The ENDEAVOUR was built locally in 1926 as a Cockle boat and then spent most of her working life in Leigh-on-Sea. In 1940 she was one of the Little Ships that rescued troops from the beaches of Dunkirk. In 2001 the Trust was established to restore her, and, using Oak from nearby Belfairs Woods, she was relaunched in 2005, for community and educational use. She is moored in Leigh Creek.

Our Association provides services to Hindu ethnic community in Southend and District area connected with community cultural activities. The service is in form of arrangements of cultural, religious and charitable activities for the benefit of the Hindu community as well as others in the City of Southend.

Raising money and providing support to local, national and international causes. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world of fellowship.

Providing musical education and entertainment to the local community with concerts and musical performances in local venues, care homes and a local stroke club.

raising funds for the benefit and welfare of local sufferers of cystic fibrosis in southend catchment area including the purchase of medical equipment which would not otherwise be funded by the NHS

religious activities, provide help such building churches, educating people, providing food, cloths, health care to the poor, supporting missionaries, pastors, helping people to come out of any addiction such drugs, alcohol,general charitable purposes, sport/recreation,overseas aid/famine relief

The School PA run a number of events during the year and all proceeds are used to purchase equipment and services for the school. Type of events organised include: Quiz Nights, Table Sales, Dinner/Dances, Discos, Christmas Bazaar, Race Nights, etc.

Advancement of Christian religion, helping the youth and elderly.

Chhandam promotes, educates and engages local communities in Indian music, culture, dance, poetry and dramatics. Lead a show in October 2024 with community participation. Also staged the show Rays of Light in Shaw Theatre in November 2024, and supported local talents to be aware, learn and perform Indian classical and semi classical music.

We are a charitable organisation for the public benefit, the relief of sickness and the preservation and saving of life through the provision of first aid by fully trained first aiders at public events in the East of England.

We fundraise and work with partners, so OA Foundation can offer grants and advice for enrichment programmes, via OA academies, that inspire Olive academy pupils and their families. Programmes supported involve extended learning opportunities, not activities that form part of the formal curriculum.

THE CHARITY FUND OPERATES WITHIN A RADIUS OF SOUTHEND,RAYLEIGH,ROCHFORD CASTLEPOINT DISTRICTS ORGANISING OUTINGS TO CLACTON ON SEA AND SIMILAR PLACES. CHRISTMAS AND THE EASTER PARTY, FOR SICK & DISABLED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILY, PROVIDE SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS IN THE CHARITY FUND'S YEAR. THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY FUND IS TO HELP PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY HANDICAPPED CHILDREN, AND CHILDREN IN NEED.
