This is a charity association operating in southend on sea.We conduct several programmes in southend where other volunatary associations are involved aswell.

The Southend Boy's and Southend Girl's choir enable music to be performed for the public benefit. Young people are given training and access to choral music to enable them to enjoy singing for the public across the country and the worldand to gain skills. Young people sing together under the direction of a musical director, and learn to appreciate the skills of choral music.

Fund-raising activities in school e.g. Christmas Bazaar, Bouncy Castle fun day, Summer fun day, quiz night, curry evenings, raffles, Bags2School, Adventure Island (fun fair) tickets, disco, West end shows and local productions.

Providing free ECG screenings to young people (aged 14-35) within the Essex area to help diagnose any undetected heart conditions. Also, providing free CPR/defib training sessions and funding the installation of defibrillators in prime locations within Essex

Provide facilities for comradeship & welfare for members of the Association & also some local community groups. Make donations to ex-service charities & some local charities when our finances permit.

The aim of the Scout Association are to encourage the spiritual, mental and physical development of young people through a training programme of games, instruction and fun.

The Palace Theatre was conveyed to the council by Mrs GE Mouillot in a deed of gift as an expression of her interest and goodwill towards the then County Borough Council.The Theatre is used for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Southend-on-Sea

Packed with Smiles provide families in need with otherwise costly, new school uniform parcels. Each parcel contains everything a child may need to fully participate in school, including PE kits, coats, shoes, water bottles and backpacks. Personalising parcels where possible, we also enclose a letter to each child and their grown up, to let them know that their parcel was truly packed with love.

The Art Ministry is a charity who run weekly arts and crafts groups and clubs for a wide variety of people from Essex. We focus on people who are most likely to benefit from the opportunity that being involved in creative activity provides for making friends, boosting self confidence and improving self esteem.

The provision and maintenance of a recreation ground for the benefit of children and young persons who have not reached the age of 25 years and are resident in the borough of Southend-on-Sea, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

To provide support and to raise funds for both West Leigh Infant and West Leigh Junior Schools.

(i) to advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full time gainful employment in Thorpe Bay and its surrounding locality. (ii) the provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

The Association seeks to provide and co-ordinate projects and activities to benefit the local Ward. Currently, it runs a small subsidised cafe, two charity shops and puts on activities such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Quizzes a Christmas Fayre where presents are donated to children and operates coach trips for children, pensioners and residents.

ADVANCING CHARITABLE CHRISTIAN PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF THE TRUST WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF SOUTHEND ON SEA AND LOCAL AREA

The objections of the CIO is the alleviation of the effects of hygiene poverty by way of operating a personal care and hygiene bank in the City of Southend-on-Sea. The Care Bank will serve the community primarily, but not exclusively, by providing free personal hygiene and household products for adults and children on a self-referral basis.

Alleviating Poverty of the Spirit, Soul and Body; through the preaching of the gospel of Christ via one on one, print and electronic media. We help to restore broken relationships and marriages.We celebrate life and bring back hope where there is no hope; we commit ourselves to the teaching of the Bible.We take the love of God to the communities of People , restoring lives back to God.

The prime purpose is to provide financial assistance to "poor clergy" throughout the Chelmsford Diocese. This includes those whose own parents are now among their dependants. Support extends into retirement and-after death-continues to provide grants for surviving spouses and dependant children.

The relief of poverty for the benefit of people and their animals who are homeless or rough sleepers in Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding area.
