Wat Thai Southend is a temple in Theravada Buddhism. It is a place of worship for Theravada Monks from Thailand who practice and teach Buddhism and carry out religious ceremonies, meditation, chanting and activities for the Thai and local communities in Southend on Sea and surrounding areas. The Wat Thai Southend temple supports peaceful coexistence of Buddhist Thai & British culture in society.

Our only activity at present is to operate the community centre known as St Edmunds Hall which provides a suitable place to hold functions, meetings, and various club activities primarily for the benefit of the local community in the ward of St Lukes.

Operation of a Sea Scout Group

Supports & promotes Christian unity & mission by building relationship across denominations, traditions & streams of the Christian community. It supports Local Ecumenical Partnership churches, workplace chaplains, churches together groups, newer networks and coordinates the Bradwell Pilgrimage & Gathering. Facilitates other joint missional opportunities & work associated with such a committee.

The Old Waterworks (TOW) is an artist-led charity in Southend-on-Sea that provides studios, facilities, and research and development opportunities for artists.

KCF meets on Sundays and midweek in church members' homes. We run a vibrant and successful community -serving youth club, THE QUBE, a free face-to-face debt advice centre, called King's Money Advice (KMAC), and we are involved in an active primary school partnership, seeking the improvement of children's welfare and family life in the Blenheim area. We are involved in the school where we meet.

In association with Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Bradford, the centre delivers free assistance to those in debt through volunteers drawn from local churches.

The Choir shall study and practice choral music in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music by means of public performance. We will also assist and support such charitable institutions or purpose as the Committee from time to time determine.

We are a youth football club in Southend, we have 23 teams with managers and coaches that are all volunteers and help run each of the teams. Each team run their own training sessions and play matches on a Sunday during the footballing season. We operate at Garons Park, Southend on Sea.
