Unite to Ignite, unites adult women of all ages for the purposes of female empowerment, social cohesion and the promotion of wellbeing. We provide recreational activities, peer support groups, social networks, mentoring, workshops and rejuvenating excursions. We empower women to discover and ignite their strengths in a positive and nurturing environment.

Hairdressing for clients with additional needs

PCCI provides a place for people to worship, learn and be a part of an extended family. We focus on the development of faith through the sharing of scripture, prayer, music and testimony. The churches assist members with personal enrichment through organized programs for men, ladies, youth and children. Churches are also involved in community development within the areas they are located.

The Association runs the Balmoral Centre for the benefit of one of the most disadvantaged wards in the UK. It is the only community facility, and promotes community cohesion in an area of intense multicultural diversity. It runs projects to help disadvantaged, vulnerable people play a fuller role in the community through improved life choices and chances, and social and community involvement.

(1) CONDUCTING REGULAR CHURCH SERVICES EVERY SUNDAY (BI-LINGUAL: CHINESE/MADARIN) (2) CHOIR TRAINING ON EVERY SUNDAY. (3) CONDUCTING BIBLE STUDY CLASSES ON A REGULAR BASIS EACH WEEK ON WEEKDAYS. (4) PROVIDING PASTORAL CARE AND COUNSELLING. (5) PRESENTING RELIGIOUS GATHERINGS AND SPECIAL EVENTS TO FACILITATE INTRODUCTION OF THE GOSPEL IN THE COMMUNITY.

To advance the education and preserve and protect the good health of children in Africa, in particular, but not exclusively, children living in Mpongwe, Zambia by the provision of and assisting in the provision of educational materials, training and health care projects.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in Southend on Sea and the surrounding area, who are, in particular, socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed (in particular, members of the Tamil community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society,

Friends of Hinguar are the PTA at Hinguar primary school. We arrange events for the school and our local community.

Raising funds to finance additional activities and equipment for the pupils of Thorpe Hall School

To support, through parental involvement, Westcliff High School for Girls aim of establishing a community where students, staff, parents and governors work as partners with shared responsibility, and to assist in furthering the well being of the school by the raising of additional funds to support the school in ways that would not be funded elsewhere.

Grants made to the four dioceses of St Albans, London, Southwark and Chelmsford to support post-ordinand training.

The society supports education and appreciation of music by hosting public concerts and encouraging performances and demonstrations from a range of instruments and voice, with a particular emphasis on the organ at Southend High School for Boys. Additionally, the organ's upkeep is supported by the society, and we undertake various fundraising activities to provide this support.

Abacus provides affordable counselling sessions in Essex, to clients referred to the service. It spends its money on providing counselling services, such as through room hire. It pays expenses to its volunteer counsellors and counselling supervision. It pays other costs associated with running a charity, such as salary to to part time managers, marketing, accounting services, insurance etc.

We provide a community hub for all ages and ethic background of residents of Basildon Borough Council and surrounding areas

Alfies A Team is set up to help families with a child with a disability in Southend, and surrounding areas of Essex. With peer support, advice, equipment library and microgrants.

1. To encourage the study, performance and appreciation of good music (and drama) by holding annual public competitions.2. To afford the competitors the opportunity of having their qualifications tested by eminent adjudicators.

Assist the poor and needy the aged the sick and handicapped persons. Organise children's and old persons outings and provide support for people in need. Fund raising activities include an annual pier walk, tin shakes, concerts and social events.

PROMOTES CONCERTS. HELP EDUCATE THE PUBLIC WITH CLASSICAL MUSIC AND HELP THEM TO SING WITH US

The objects of the Leigh Folk Festival Association CIO are to further public education and understanding of traditional and contemporary folk arts including: 1. Music 2. Dance 3. Spoken word (poetry and storytelling) These will be achieved by a series of events throughout the year including a free festival during June.

To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statement of belief appearing in the schedule of the Articles of Association. Coffee mornings are conducted to create an environment where people feel confident to discuss, share experiences and problems to find healing, forgiveness and moving on as Jesus Christ did to those who cruxified him.

Public meetings continued to be held most Sundays. Preaching and teaching ministry was provided by leaders and members of the Church supplemented occasionally by visiting speakers.

General Scouting /Marine activities. i.e. camping,hiking,canoeing,sailing etc.

We sell tickets and passes to local attractions, hold Summer and Christmas fetes, book fairs, children's discos, provide refreshments and hold Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day sales. All the money we raise goes towards paying for activities or buying equipment for the children at Blenheim Primary School and Nursery.

Fund raising events held including Quiz Night, Summer Fayre, Christmas Fayre, Bouncy Fun Day and Adventure Island tickets to support donations to Edwards Hall Primary School to enhance the education of primary age children.
