To advance the education of children and young people in The Gambia, West Africa, by the provision of funds, equipment and by offering training to teachers.

We partner with education providers in the third world to provide vocational courses for underprivileged young people, in particular orphans.

Provide grants to the running of a deaf school in Kashmir and raising funds to set up an audiology clinic.

The charity's activities are encapsulated in the Charitable Objects below. What we do is simple: we raise money and fund cataract operations in The Gambia. The charity holds and distributes monies arising from the charitable fund raising activities undertaken by the N Wales & NW England Rotary Passport Club. Funds are used for the relief or the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes that the Club may direct both in the UK and overseas.

The projects we support are aimed at producing lasting change, particularly through small-scale self-help initiatives, to some of the poorest sections of society. We also have concern for the victims of violence and for the promotion of peace.

To further the Christian faith, through supporting those in Christian ministry, mission and service, or supporting projects that will effectively witness to others and bring relief and support to those in need.

To relieve sickness and to promote the preservation of good health in the Gambia through the provision of health centre facilities and the establishment of primary health care programmes.

Translation, production and distribution of Biblical materials in vernacular languages for Guinea-Bissau, The Gambia and Senegal, particularly in Manjaku; support of language, literacy, development and Evangelical Christian work, and the relief of poverty in association with the above; the training and support of national Evangelical Christian workers to carry out the above.

I'VE STARTED A DOCUMENTARY WITH WOMEN IN THE GAMBIA, ABOUT VICTIMS OF PREECLAMPSIA

Raising funds for the purchase of Rotary Barrels for delivery to groups, organisations to distribute in the designated countries for use by the local population, mainly women and children.

Provide opportunities for education in Gambia by sponsorship and management of schools, teacher training and curriculum development.

The provision of schooling for children from poor families living in The Gambia. Providing foodstuffs, clothing etc. to poor people living in The Gambia. Evangelism and providing medical help for those unable to afford treatment.

Anaya Aid is a humanitarian organisation responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class and religion. Anaya Aid also has partners ranging from small community support groups to national alliances along with our international networks

The charity supports Albaraca Nursery School in the town of Sukuta, The Gambia, which opened in 1998. There are now 160 children, 8 teachers (7 of whom are fully trained and qualified) with 5 rooms, a kitchen and small medical area. We also support the local community by providing mosquito nets for families with children at the school. 5 local Gambians help the trustees to manage the school.

We work with partners in Gambia and Senegal to help in poverty relief and education projects to elevate suffering of beneficiaries as follow:Access to rural education and madrassa for children of poor families and orphans who have no access to schools, Family Food Parcels, Distributing meat during Qurbani to help poor and needy families during eidul adha feast,Access of water to villages
