The provision of education for the children of the village and surrounding area of Kafuta Tumbung in The Gambia by the creation and maintenance of school buildings and teaching facilities through fund raising and child sponsorship.

SUPPORTING THE CONSTRUCTION AND RUNNING OF HOSPITALS.3.THE RELIEF OF THE SICK; CHILDREN WHO ARE BLIND OR HANDICAPPED. 4.SPORTS OR GAMES WHICH PROMOTE GOOD HEALTH BY INVOLVING PHYSICAL OR MENTAL SKILL AMONG THOSE IN DEPRIVED AREAS OF THE WORLD.

The object of the charity is to prevent the poverty of children and their families,and to facilitate education in Gambia. The main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to the above,include sponsorships,the building of schools and wells, creating education centres, building vegetable gardens and teaching the families how to grow their own food and establishing feeding prgrammes.

To preserve health and relieve sickness for the public benefit in India and The Gambia by supporting health messaging, training, and equipment; to advance education, and to promote environmental conservation and water management for public benefit in those regions.

This charity addresses the need for economic development at the micro level (SDG8) with the youth in Gambia thus helping to relieve poverty (SDG1) through projects involving training of micro entrepreneurs and providing support services for their on-going development.

The Farakunku Foundation supports children and young people in The Gambia. Our activities focus on education and healthcare.

SHED the Light Gambia is a fundraising and volunteer resourcing charity supporting Health, Education and Christian outreach work being undertaken by the Evangelical Church of The Gambia (ECG) at Sibanor. The work there is centred on ECG Sibanor Health Centre which provides inpatient, outpatient and maternity services to Sibanor village and the surrounding community.

The advancement of education for the public benefit in the Gambia by providing funds and practical assistance to schools and to assist children to attend school and college and to facilitate the training of teachers, such support being delivered with a Christian ethos.

Empower the Gambia provides training & resources for communities in rural Gambia in order to alleviate poverty. We first visited Bansang in 2008 & set up the charity in 2012. We sponsor children, support schools, medical services, a poultry cooperative & kitchen gardens. We plant community libraries with sponsored librarians & have completed a building programme. We now work with 7 communities.

Providing clean water by sinking wells and installing standpipes where possible. Giving rice to poor families. Giving cement to render mud houses so keeping out the rains. Donating corrugate sheets to replace grass roof.providing sponsored nursery school education in 2 schools.built a medical outpost in the bush.

African Conservation Foundation (ACF) is working to preserve Africa 's wild heritage by conducting field projects as well as supporting and linking conservation initiatives throughout the continent.

The development of information systems to inform the worldwide public on the best practices in animal welfare and the law relating to animals in order to advance education and promote humane behaviour towards animals.

To advance the education of the pupils of African Children's School, Brusubi, The Gambia by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school.

Through the provision of a school, educating the public, providing recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare, relieving those in need, and promoting racial and religious harmony.

The Grifaid Charity is about safe water for all, providing access to safe drinking water for families and communities, resulting in the relief of hardship, the preservation of health and the support of education among people in poverty residing in developing countries.
