Desmoid Aid UK is a non-profit charity providing information for patients and their families when they have been diagnosed with Desmoid-type fibromatosis. The charity provides links to information and resources about the disease. We also provide a small grant to help pay for unexpected costs for newly diagnosed patients undergoing treatment.

Ogmore Valley Silver Band operate as a Brass Band, based in Ogmore Vale, Bridgend. The Band rehearses twice weekly on Wednesday and Sunday evenings and operate an open door policy, giving members of the public the opportunity to learn how to read music and how to play a brass instrument.
