PREPARING YOUNG PEOPLE FOR THE WORLD OF WORK THROUGH CAREERS ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND EVENTS; PROVIDING WORK-EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS TO SECONDARY STUDENTS AND ADULTS; SUPPORTING YOUNG PEOPLE TO ACCESS OUT OF SCHOOL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES, TRAINING, EMPLOYMENT AND VOLUNTEERING; RAISING AWARENESS AND INSPIRING YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT CAREERS IN STEM.

Advance the arts and culture especially those activities which seek to make the arts relevant to the community and thereby advance citizenship and community development.

Our main areas of activity are the provision of advice and support services for the voluntary and community sector; outreach work with community groups and individuals; assistance and advice services for volunteers; health and well-being initiatives for disadvantaged and/or isolated people; assistance for local communities in developing initiatives that help to sustain their communities.

To promote education and training in the creative and expressive arts and to advance the educational, physical, cultural and social welfare of young people in particular from disadvantaged inner city areas so that they may grow to maturity as individuals and members of society.

To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community particularly in Yorkshire and the surrounding area in particular the advancement of education and health and the relief of poverty and distress, the sustainability of rural life, or in pursuing any other charitable purposes by promoting and organising cooperation in the achievement of the said purposes.

Manage and conserve Whitlingham Country Park for the recreation and enjoyment of members of the public who wish to enjoy it's amenities for quiet and peaceful pursuits in a rural environment.

The Progressive Farming Trust is committed to developing sustainable land management and food production systems based on organic/ agroecological principles; fostering knowledge exchange and influencing public debate with sound evidence, to help meet human nutritional needs with safe, affordable, high quality food that enhances the natural environment and ensures the health and wellbeing of all.

York Mind (Incorporating Our Celebration) is an independent provider of high quality mental health services in York and its surrounding area.We support adults recovering from mental ill-health to help them achieve outcomes that will progress them towards recovery and integration in mainstream activity such as learning, volunteering or employment.

DRIVE FORWARD FOUNDATION, HELPS YOUNG PEOPLE FROM CARE (AGED 16-26) TO FIND SUITABLE EMPLOYMENT IN THEIR CHOSEN CAREER THROUGH INDIVIDUALLY TAILORED PROGRAMMES OF SUPPORT, TRAINING , WORK INDUCTIONS AND OPPORTUNITIES TO GAIN EXPERIENCE THROUGH PAID EMPLOYMENT. PARTICULAR FOCUS ON YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE CARE OF THE STATUTORY AUTHORITY.

The objectives of the charity are to improve the quality of life for people and communities, particularly for those who suffer disadvantage as a result of exclusion from the labour market and inadequate access to essential services.

Our mission is to support homeless families by providing emergency accommodation and education in basic/other life and social skills to enable families to get back on to the social ladder.

Conservation of flora, fauna and the soil in the central Argentine pampas by farming commercially on organic principles, wildlife protection, education and promotion.

Providing supported work experience and skills training to people who are disabled or disadvantaged, enabling them to contribute to the community and where possible progress into unsupported employment.

The object for which the Company is established is the advancement of the education and training of children and young people resident in the UK, in particular by equipping them for employment in commerce, business and industry (the "Objects").

The activities carried on by the Trust can be found in the Management Plan. Paddington Recreation Ground has been awarded the Civic Trusts Green Flag Award for the past 9 years. This is a national standard for parks that meet high operational and maintenance standards which are assessed annually by judges appointed by the Civic Trust.

The Social Enterprise Loan Fund aims to promote charitable purposes by the provision of loans and other financial assistance. We aim to support the growth of financially viable social enterprises.

Endeavour is an inner-city outdoor adventure, alternative education, youth and community centre dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of young people and families.

The Trust makes grants primarily to the hospice movement and related charities in the UK, but also to other organisations such as those aiding disabled and homeless people and third world self-help groups.

Museum which rescues historic buildings under threat in Chilterns Area and re-erects them within a 45 acre traditional landscape with interpretation for visitors. The buildings range from domestic, agricultural to rural industrial dating from 15c to post WW2. Activities include historical re-enactments, rural craft demos, traditional farming practices with livestock. Lifelong learning is provided.

Reducing social exclusion by operating community projects to reduce unemployment through training. Alleviate hardship and provide support to young homeless and in need.

To promote advance and improve for the public benefit agriculture, horticulture, forestry and rural crafts and skills in all their branches and forms and to encourage interest, skill and industry in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, rural crafts and skills and all trades, crafts, businesses, and professions connected therewith.
