Remar Association (UK) operates a soup kitchen to assist vulnerable people in the Nottingham area. The charity sends humanitarian aid containers to other Remar organisations around the world to relieve suffering from poverty and addictions.

Greenwich Mencap works with and for people with a learning disability and their families. Our Children's services are: support with challenging behaviour, activity sessions (short breaks) and support surrounding the transition to adulthood. Our Adult services are: information, advice, advocacy, 1-1 support, travel training, job coaching, day services including handicrafts, gardening & painting.

Self Help Africa (UK) is an international development, non-governmental organisation. Its main purpose is the assistance and advancement of people in need in less developed areas of the world. We have expertise in small-scale farming. We work with farmers to help them grow/sell more food, diversify their income/diets, make their livelihoods more sustainable and resistant to external shocks.

SOFA PROJECT IS A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE WITH THE CHARITABLE AIMS OF SUPPORTING THE REHABILITATION OF PRISONERS THROUGH WORK OPPORTUNITIES IN THE ORGANISATION. THESE ACTIVITIES MAINLY COMPRISE THE RE-USE OF UNWANTED/DONATED FURNITURE AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCES BY REFURBISHING THEM AND SUPPLYING THEM AT LOW PRICES TO PEOPLE ON LOW INCOMES.

THE HOLDING OF AN ANNUAL AGRICULTURAL AND HORSE SHOW ON FIRST SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER AND ON FARM COMPETITIONS IN A RESTRICTED AREA THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WITH OTHER ASSOCIATED ACTIVITIES FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC.

The principal activity of the Charity during the year was the advancement of the religion of Islam andthe education of Muslim children in accordance with the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.Other activities included the relief of poverty, the provision of funeral services to the Muslimcommunity, and the provision of facilities for community development in the South London area.

WORK-LINK is a Hinckley Charity, based on the Recycling of furniture/electricals. It provides sheltered, meaningful opportunities to help unemployed individuals, who are not ready/able to embark on a more formal training/educational programme or to directly enter employment. It is an integrated scheme catering for a variety of people, many of whom have special needs, including mental ill health.

High quality advice to Camden's most deprived residents through telephone and face to face work. We reach BME and refugee communities by having a number of advisers from those communities. Areas of advice offered are: Welfare Benefits, Employment, Debt, Housing, Asylum and Immigration - we include representation at Tribunals and Outreach sessions in libraries and Community Centre.

Touring theatre company established in 1982, bringing high-quality productions of new writing to mainly rural towns and villages in the East of England. THE ORGANISATION HAS A CHARITY SHOP WHICH RAISES FUNDS FOR THE CHARITY.THE CHARITY HAS A HOLIDAY BUNGALOW FOR USE.
