The Harington Scheme provides a unique learning experience for young people and adults with learning disabilities and/or difficulties to help them into employment, further education or a more rewarding life through appropriate learning opportunities.

RURAL MEDIA CHARITY COMBINES COMMUNITY AND INFORMAL EDUCATION WITH ARTS AND MEDIA PRODUCTION EXPERTISE TO EMPOWER RURAL COMMUNITIES,PARTICULARLY THOSE MOST DISADVANTAGED. Empire Fighting Chance (EFC) helps young people who are failing at school, in danger of drifting into a life of unemployment or even crime, and helps them turn their lives around. We run intensive mentoring and personal development programmes alongside a physcial activity. EFC perform remedial work on numeracy and literacy,preparation for employment courses,sports and mentoring qualifications

BVF and its wholly owned subsidiary Balloon Ventures ltd are dedicated to the relief of poverty and hardship in developing countries initially focusing on Kenya and Uganda. We provide support, training and loan finance to small businesses to help them grow and create good jobs. In Kenya we also support an orphanage in Busia.

Nottingham Forest Football Club in the Community deliver high quality football, physical activity and education programmes to people of all ages and abilities in Nottingham and across the county.

The charity provides a range of centre based and outreach services from the centre's site in Barton Hill, in Bristol.Key projects deliver services to support local families and young children and support for local community activities to promote community cohesion and engagement. The Settlement manages a hub of agencies on its site and offers rooms for training.

BS3 Community Development Association (formerly Southville Community Development Association) is a local charity supporting community development, providing a nursery & pre-school, out-of-school clubs for children, toddler group, day opportunity service for older people, rooms available for clubs, classes, local business & others, a cafe & catering service.

The objects of the charity are:-- to assist in the advancement of education and training for children, their families, staff and others working in the fields of early years, family support and community development.- to undertake research of early years and family policy and practice and to disseminate such findings both nationally and internationally.
