We distribute grants annually to solely UK registered smaller charities working in the areas of children's education, the environment and overseas development. We will not have any direct involvement in any overseas activities.

Offer Employment advice and guidance, IT training, Job-search, women development and counselling, healthy living, ESOL and other activities to benefit the local community at large.

We are a 100% volunteer-run charity committed to offering an annual summer camping holiday for around 160 deserving children from Derby City. The children, aged 9-14 years, are selected to attend the camp by their school or the local authority Children's and Young People's services. We offer a safe, friendly and exciting adventure in the Derbyshire countryside for children who really need it.

The activities of the Trust are governed by the Subject, to include the art, science and technology of agriculture, food and land use and of disciplines supporting agriculture, food and land use or such other arts, sciences and branches of technology as the Trustees may determine.

Church activities

YPTC continues to act as a assessment centre for NPTC. We provide a wide range of landbased assessments both economically and efficiently. We deliver approximately 3000 test per annum.

Brandon Carrside Youth and Community Project aims to offer a safe and stimulating environment where children and young people can develop skills, create positive outcomes and take an active role in the community in which they live and where appropriate accredit this using National Awards. BCYCP also offers community activities for the whole family thus building cohesion between the generations.

For the benefit of the inhabitants of Thurston without distinction of age, sex or political, religious or other opinions by the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time activities. In particular the provision of an open space and a community centre. Provision of entertainment with music and dance.

To advance research into the science and practice of agriculture with particular reference to horticulture and assist in the dissemination of the results of the said research work by the publication of a journal to be called "Journal of Horticultural Science and Biotechnology" which journal shall be available to members of the general public

We are a small community run preschool, established in 1978, situated in a beautiful rural village.Our pre-school offers care and education for children aged 2 years to rising 5, and are registered to care for 19 children per session.With experienced qualified staff we offer a fun and stimulating environment for the children to learn through play.

The primary activity of the charity is that of a Christian Church proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. The charity runs Church services and associated meetings including smaller neighbourhood groups which are actively involved in their local communities. The charity is involved in the provision of poor relief and foreign aid as well as counseling and general charitable activities

The main purposes of the WI organisation are to enable women to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public question, in music, drama and other cultural subjects and in all branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare. COMPASS BRAILLE TRANSCRIBE/PRODUCE BRAILLE BIBLES/BOOKS IN MANY LANGUAGES FOR USE IN 120+ DESTINATIONS WORLDWIDE AT A COMPUTERISED BRAILLE PRODUCTION UNIT. OVERSEAS PARTNER GROUPS DISTRIBUTE THE BRAILLE TO OTHER GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THEIR COUNTRY/COMMUNITIES. THE BRAILLE IS USED IN CHURCH SITUATIONS, EDUCATION, VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SELF-EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES, ETC.

Providing land and buildings in rural Spain as an infrastructure and support for meditative & contemplative retreat, particularly for those who wish to do so in accord with the Buddha's teaching.
