The Charity operates Plas Dolerw as a Voluntary Sector Centre and organises an annual lecture to discuss issues of concern in Montgomeryshire. The Charity also owns Oriel Davies Gallery, which is leased to a separate charity. Exhibitions and arts education courses are provided there for the benefit of the people of mid Wales.

To provide education and training for young people aged between 10 and 26 years old.

CECCC is a non-profit making, non-political and non-religious body. It comprises of 4 sections: Chinese Music, Martial Arts, Culture, and the Chinese School. The aim of our centre is to help our members to appreciate their Chinese origin, virtue and righteousness. We promote Chinese Arts, Culture, music, dancing and martial arts. We also help our members to integrate with the local society.

Trustees support education costs for hugely disadvantaged children from the 'slums' of Bangalore, India, the costs of University education for a gifted Ghanaian also a UK volunteer working amongst rural Gipsies in Romania who are rejected by many. Trustees also address other needs, both overseas and in the UK, as and when they present themselves.

Meirionnydd YFC seeks to meet the needs of rural young people aged between 10 and 31. It is a totally democratic organisation which means it is run by members for members

Assistance to professional or former professional polo players. Education and training for alternative employment or self-employment of professional or former professional players. Assistance towards the welfare of ponies. Encouragement of polo amongst children and the young in full time education. Encouragement amongst members of the Armed Services. Donations to other charities.

Rural youth movement for young people aged 10 to 28 based in geographical area of former county of Clwyd

Providing activities for those persons who are no longer in full-time employment. Groups, tutored and self-help, study and take part in classes in many subjects, dance, exercise, musical, dramatic sessions. The emphasis is on shared learning. The activities undertaken by members of this U3A are self-supporting.

Training without walls, frontiers or fees for leaders mainly in the developing world with project development and micro-enterprise for the poor.

Environment Africa Trust supports organisations and projects within Sub-Saharan Africa that encourage sound environmental management and biodiversity conservation through a strong community development focus to achieve sustainable livelihoods.

To Enable young people to make their own decisions both within YFC and beyond on issues which affect their lives. Also to provide a programme for a variety of learning opportunities including vocational and life skills. By positive yet sensitive leadership, the movement will provide a framework within which young people can learn and become more involved as members of society.

Maintaining against all encroachment the Scriptural Doctrines of the Reformation and principles of religious liberty. Advancing the Christian religion and where possible relieving poverty among persecuted Protestants. Producing a bi-monthly magazine. Holding Protestant Martyr Commemoration Meetings, having a presence at County and Agricultural shows, and maintaining a preaching ministry.

The support of education and research in the fields of gas, electricity, nucleur and renewable energy technology and conservation and to award prizes to recognized educational authorites.

General community activities.

The object of the County Proficiency Tests Committee shall be the advancement of education by means of collaboration with the National Proficiency Tests Council in the administration and provision of Proficiency Tests in practical agriculture and horticulture and related subjects within the County

As a modern Almshouse Charity we provide affordable housing in a rural area for local people who are in need. Our Residents are elderly people of limited means who are accepted as Almshouse Residents due to their circumstances and their inability to fund a home from their own resources.
