The United Kingdom Falkland Islands Trust is dedicated to the assistance of the Falkland Islands and their population by conducting beneficial programmes of research and advice on agriculture, forestry, rural development and civic issues not normally funded by Government. For this the Trust uses the specialist skills and contacts of its UK based consultant and the dedication of its Trustees.

Provides free physiotherapy for elderly people in their own homes.

PROVIDING EDUCATION AND ACTIVITIES FOR PEOPLE AGE 10-28 WHO LIVE, WORK OR ARE INTERESTED IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

To help those less fortunate to engage in education and training with a view to building confidence, becoming qualified and gaining experience to improve employment chances and prospects.

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 10 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.

The charity is responsible for managing the village hall to provide a place for recreation, educational or/and social purposes for the local communities of Felindre, Beguildy and the surrounding rural hamlets and villages. It provides a valuable resource to the local community suporting Teme Valley YFC, Felindre W.I, Beguildy Community Council, Keep Fit Club, Art club and short mat bowls club.

Provision of drama-based activities for young people living in a predominantly rural area of mid Wales. The work is non-selective, and covers the age range 9 to 18+.

Brighton and Hove U3A is one of 1100 u3a around the country that are designed to promote self learning. It provides a wide range of social and educational group activities during the day for those not in full time employment.

To provide a well maintained building for the communal benefit of the inhabitants of Bradley and the surrounding villages. The trustees aim to provide high class facilities to voluntary organisations of all ages and the general public within our community. We encourage and value all our community activities.

THE PROVISION OF POSITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 28

It is a self help group for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities. It draws upon knowledge, experience and skills of our own members to organise and provide interest groups in accordance with wishes of the membership

To aid Bethany Village in India to become self sufficient through training and financial support and aiding members of the community in various job vocations.

A rural youth organisation for people aged 10 to 26

To advance the education of members(aged 10 to 26) in agriculture,, country life and related subjects.Provide social welfare to such members and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations, to improve and develop the spiritual and mental capacities, self reliance and individual responsibilities

To provide an annual agricultural show for the benefit of breeders growers and exhibitors

To grant relief to poor persons who had held responsible positions in the Motor Trade and their dependents.To make periodical grants for the relief or benefit of any young person or young persons of poor indigent or other circumstance requiring assistance to establish employment within the automotive sector

THE CHARITY PREMISES ARE USED BY VARIOUS COMMUNITY GROUPS FOR SPORTING AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS FOOTBALL, CRICKET, BOWLS, KARATE, KICKBOXING, CHEERLEADING AND TABLE TENNIS. THERE IS ALSO AN ANNUAL GALA DAY AND REGULAR CAR BOOT SALES. THE FUNCTION ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR HIRE BY THE PUBLIC FOR THINGS SUCH AS PARTIES AND WEDDINGS AND THE SEPARATELY RUN SOCIAL CLUB WHICH IS ON SITE CAN PROVID

To hold this building in trust for the residents of Thorpe St Andrew and surrounding areas.

To support and work with Christian churches, Christian organisations and individuals for the furtherance of Christian faith, particularly for the spiritual and social welfare of all the above. To encourage the church in networking with other organisations for the regeneration and transformation of their communities. In addition, to mentor leaders who are themselves engagaged in such pursuits.

Providing facilities for a rural community, visiting post office twice weekly, doctor's surgery, keep fit, bowling, badminton, amateur dramatics, and for private use for parties, wedding receptions and other use for local organisations such as the church for jumble sales and whist and euchre drives.

U3A Leeds is devoted to lifelong learning, providing opportunities for those in the Leeds area no longer in full time employment to share skills and interests by learning together.We hold fortnightly general meetings, usually with a speaker, and have special interest groups where members can share their knowledge, skills, and experiences.
