Charitable purposes for the public as the Trustees shall think fit giving special consideration to charitable objects in Lincolnshire and considering overseas aid, the Fabric of Lincoln Cathedral, the Hospice Movement, the Cheshire Homes and considering charities involved with nature conservation and animal welfare in Lincolnshire. THE CHARITY OPERATES TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO THE NEEDY OF THE PARISH BY THE ISSUE OF DOLE PAYMENTS TOWARDS, ELECTRICITY, GAS OR COAL. IT ALSO PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL GRANTS TO STUDENTS

Provides travelling fellowships to support international educational exchanges by scientists involved in grassland-related research and allied agricultural science. Supports grassland-related education through sponsoring seminars and occasional speakers at conferences.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

The building provides a venue for community activities (ie, weekly lunch club, art group, drama productions, yoga, zumba and other fitness classes, fund raising events and private hirings) as well as table tennis, darts etc . The committee is made up of 8 trustees and members of representative groups. The Aldborough Community Centre Team meets monthly and the wider group twice per year

Care for Guildford is a "good neighbour" scheme offering practical help to anyone in need living in the old borough of Guildford through volunteers who provide transport, shopping and odd jobs in the home.

NLU3A is a self-help organisation - a learning co-operative of older people who are no longer in full-time employment. They share educational, creative and leisure activities.

The West India Committee exists as a venerable UK charity whose object is to promote the interests of agriculture, manufacturing industries and trade of the West Indies, Belize and Guyana and thus increase the general welfare of those territories [and their people globally] [delivering] through education, training, acting as an advocate, adviser and where necessary, as an umbrella organisation.

Hire of rooms to community groups or individuals, facilities for research through our computers and hard copy archives, open days and events, exhibitons, Victorian Schooldays, Museum of local industry. Currently undertaking major regeneration of building to provide even better services. Building work is almost complete (May 2019).

Assistance to job seekers resident in the Wokingham Borough and Bracknell Town. Services include advice on finding a job, writing a CV and preparing for a job interview. Clients have access a library and can use the Internet. The service is free to clients with costs covered by sponsorship from Wokingham Borough Council, other town and parish councils in the district and other donations.

The Hall and satellite rooms are available for hire for various, leisure, cultural, educational and religious purposes, together with changing rooms/showers/toilets for outside sports. The hire charges together with other fundraising events maintain the Hall and the onsite sports pitches, open space and childrens play area.

To maintain and improve the village hall for the use of all people living in the village and surrounding area and also raising funds to do this. Once again the Hall has become a learning centre for a nursery school embracing our farming and country community.

Support Charities involved in the relief of poverty & disability & protection of endangered species. Emphasis is on developing world children, education & communities working towards self sufficiency.Funds distributed annually to smaller organisations with income under GBP200,000.Written applications only, to include, or have weblinks to, most recent audited accounts.Individuals not funded.

Stone YFC is affiliated to the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, which is a rural youth organisation, for anyone aged between 10 and 28. The Club operates in and around the Stone area and organises their own programme of activities which include sports, talks, discos, meetings, socials, visit and balls - to name just a few.

The hall acts as a focal point for activities in this widely scattered rural community.

General recreation activities for Yaxham village and surrounding district

Educational grants to (a) voluntary aided schools and (b) any such school in the area of benefit; (c) individuals under 25 years who are resident, attend college or further education, or are employed in the area of benefit and are in need of financial assistance for educational or preparation for entry into employment purposes. Grants are not available towards private school fees.

Undertaking voluntary work and related activities for the benefit of people who are elderly, sick or disabled or who are otherwise in need within the Town and Rural District of Hungerford.To offer advice and guidance to people willing to undertake voluntary service. Assist them in the provision of voluntary work putting them in touch with individual/statutory organisations seeking helpers.

Provision of a facility for community activities for the Parish of Eaton Bishop, including Ruckhall, Lane Head and Lower Eaton and other surrounding villages if required.
